Some of the best in the area to work with / buy from.
good deal nice people
We were contacted by Sandy via email, after a less than wonderful experience at Gerald Subaru with a different rep (not terrible just not for us). We immediately could tell that she would be a better fit for us! She was friendly, straight forward, and really pleasant to do business with so we went back! I am glad we gave Gerald Subaru another chance and we would highly recommend Sandy to anyone buying a Subaru!
I had a very difficult time finding what I wanted in my area. I talked with Michael Gately of Gerald Subaru on Friday, flew from Sea-Tac to O’Hare, arriving in Chicago about 9:30 AM Saturday morning.
Michael Gately picked my wife and I up at O’Hare, took us to Dunkin’ Donuts then to the dealership. We test drove the car, finalized the paperwork and were driving to a relative’s house in Chicago by 2 PM.
On the way back across the country, we drove through an ice storm in Nebraska, endured -35 degrees in Rawlins, WY and returned home Thursday evening.
I highly recommend working with Michael Gately and Gerald Subaru of Naperville! It’s worth the drive! 🙂
Michael Gately was a friendly, knowledgable, no pressure salesman, who we enjoyed dealing with. Have a few questions (that I should have inquired about while purchaseing) with finance department but other than that- experience was easy and pleasing.
Michael Gately in the internet sales department was a pleasure to work with and I bought a car from him. I would highly recommend working with him. I also spoke to one of the floor sales people, Rich, he was the typical high pressure car salesman and he nearly lost the dealership my business. I wouldn’t have bought a car there if it wasn’t for Michael being great to work with and giving me a great price on a new car.
John Smith was great, I highly recommend him. We went into the dealership twice, he was low-pressure and let us sent the pace. A surprisingly pleasant experience.
I had a wonderful experience at Gerald Subaru from the very beginning. I received a very quick response from the sales representative, Sandy Jackson, after inquiring online. When I arrived at the dealership to view the actual vehicle and complete the sale there was no waiting around and we got right down to business. I informed Sandy of what I was looking for and the different finance options I was looking for and she made it happen without having to haggle back and forth. I never had the feeling she was trying to sell me on what was best for her or the dealership. I was so impressed I returned only a couple months later to purchase another vehicle form her, bringing the total to three vehicles in about four months. I believe as long as Gerald Subaru is in business I will purchase all of my vehicles from them in the future.:D
Was given a price with my chosen options over the phone, after some back and forth. Showed up and price magically was $50 higher. Decided to go forward anyway, and all of a sudden one of the options showed up as an additional line item, to the tune of almost $600 above the agreed upon price. If I hadn’t fully read the agreement, I never would have known. Definitely get offers in writing and read EVERYTHING before dealing with these shady characters.
I so did not give them 3s all the way down. My computer stalled, and had to refresh. There were a couple of 3s, but mostly big FAT zeroes. Definitely just be careful!
