Learning about and purchasing my new Fiesta was a great experience. Tom was low-key, yet friendly and helpful throughout the process. Everyone at the store, in fact, was polite and helpful. I love my new car! Thank you Tom! 🙂
Our family is a “Ford” family and we have worked with many dealerships over the years. This is the first time we have worked with Ford of Kirkland because we have followed Dan Lazott to this dealership. He made our buying experience easy and he respected our time. Dan is very knowledgeable about the products he sells and truly enjoys making sure his customers are happy with their Ford vehicle. We LOVE the Ford Edge we purchased!!!! The other Ford of Kirkland employees we dealt with during the buying experience were friendly and low pressure. We will definitely recommend others.
Really good price with no pressure. Very honest and efficient salesperson.
I was very leary to buy from a dealership again, as my last experience was terrible. A friend of mine recommended Ryan Logan at Ford of Kirkland, so i hesitantly called to set up an appointment. When I talked to Ryan on the phone he was very helpful and honest. I told him what I was looking for and what price I wanted.
I came in the next day and he had everything ready for me. We went over my credit history, which is not the greatest, and financing. He was totally honest with what I could expect and why, and he worked with me and my questions and what I could afford. The next thing I know I am the proud owner of a Mercedes!
What a great experience. I will continue to come to Ford of Kirkland and would highly reccoment Ryan Logan as the person to deal with.
My name is Chana Madsen and I would like to share my experience with your
dealership. I am so happy to say that I was blessed with a salesperson like
Johnny Greene he has sold me my last two cars and I have been very pleased
with everything he has helped me with especially his knowledge and actually
following up with me every step of the way through the deal.
Johnny is a very professional person and has a great personality and he kept
my spirits up even when I thought I was not going to get the car due to some
finance issues, he kept telling me to keep my head up and it he assured me
that the dealership would do everything they could to help me and I really
appreciate him. He is an asset and you should be proud he is on your team.
Now I would like to thank Trista and Chris, I know for a fact that Trista
jumped through every hoop possible to get me financed and did it with a smile
and made me laugh through the entire process, she is fun as well as professional
and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done and to me that meant
alot.
A big thanks to Chris! he is the paperwork king and does it with a smile
and gets you in and out as quick as possible and if I had to wait he acknowledged
me and apologized, I am very happy about my experience with him as well.
This is the 5th car that I have purchased from this dealership and I will
continue to be a customer and refer all my friends and family to you as well.
Thank you!

Ford of Kirkland made my car buying experience the easiest I have every experienced. Jon Sweigert was great! I initially contact him by email regarding a 2004 BMW 6 series on their lot. He was quick to respond, provided me with all the information on the vehicle prior to my arrival, and was friendly when I stopped by the dealership. I did not get the usual high pressure sales that I have experienced at other car dealerships where the saleperson constantly contacts me after I leave the lot. Jon was very low pressure and made sure I had all the information I needed on the car to make a decision. The entire staff was superb! I would recommend Ford of Kirkland to anyone looking for a quality new or used car – they sell their cars with kindness not high pressure sales. Thank you for the great car buying experience. Thanks Jon, Greg, and the rest of the staff!
Great transaction. Salesman worked “with” us to get best possible deal.
I had a great experience at Kirkland Fotor with purchasing a 2011 Escape. Jon was very helpful and knowledgeable the minute we made contact on the phone to my purchase. I am definitely satisfied with the service Jon and the team provided me throughout my purchase process….hassle free and enjoyable!!
I helped my son buy a new F-150. It was his first experience actually making the purchase himself. I went as his “senior” advisor. Everyone at the dealership including the owner himself – Jim Walen – treated us great and made my son feel good about his purchase. I refer everyone to this dealer.

Ford of Kirkland
I bought a used 2003 Mazda 6 from Ford of Kirkland on 11/30/2010 from a man named Tyler. When I was purchasing the car from Tyler I asked for the diagnostics on the vehicle and asked to have it checked out by my own mechanic. Tyler said they didn’t have a diagnostic nor could I have the car checked out because we had to do the deal today. They said they were making me a great deal. Well apparently not.
Within 2 days the car began having major mechanical problems. We brought the car back to them and they magically have the diagnostics test that we asked for. We had them look at it and they say “it’s a great car.” I take the car back and continue to have more problems. We emailed the dealership about the problems and they never responded. Finally on 12/30/2010 – 30 days to the date- the car breaks down on 405 as I am driving it. I call and speak to Eric Clark who says he is doing me a favor by towing the car in and having it looked into. I ask if there is a way I can get a loaner car as mine is out of commission to this he replies “we don’t do loaner cars.”
On Tuesday January 3rd Ford of Kirkland’s service manager Christina calls me and says they replaced the number 2 coil and that again “it’s a great car.” I go in to pick up the car and pay more of my deposit for the vehicle and they make me sign a “Promise to Pay” $1350 on January 15th for the Mazda (the car that I bought), which I do because they say it’s a great car and fixed. I leave and within 20 minutes of me driving home on 405 the car breaks down again- SAME EXACT ISSUE- I call and speak to them and they say bring it in and we will figure out what we are going to do.
January 4th I bring in the car and they quickly give me a loaner car (which apparently they do – do) and send me on my way. I find out then that the manager of special financing is gone (Melissa) and replaced by Trista Sullivan, the new manager of special financing. I end up calling them every other day- sometimes 2 or 3 times a day asking what is going on. They tell me that they are working on it and that they will get back to me. Finally on 01/14/2011 Trista calls me after 5 pm in a panic saying that they have sold the loaner and need me to come in and look at new cars.
I call her back and she tells me the cars that they have available are a 1996 Toyota Avalon and something close to that. Both of the cars she offered me were in no way comparable to the one that I initially bought (which by the way she has yet to tell me what exactly is going on with the Lemon they sold me) and I am not willing to settle for less than what I had. She says we are going to pay off your old loan, get you into a new car, and transfer your down payment to a new car.
I go in on Sunday, January 16th to discuss the deal with them and Chris gives me paperwork for yet another loaner car. I asked him what I was to do about the other car and how we would proceed with a new car. He states we will deal with it next week because Tyler was off as was Trista.
Today, 01/18/2011, I get a call from Trista saying that I have to return the loaner now because I didn’t pay the $1350 left from the Mazda. I tell her I am not paying for something I don’t have and that we have yet to discuss the logistics of the old deal and the new deal. That I will gladly pay to get into a new car, once it is checked out by my own mechanic, and then we will part ways. She says that she is about to get fired over this and that I must bring in the car or it is going to be reported as stolen.
And I quote : http://www.fordofkirkland.com/about-us%5B/FONT%5D%5B/COLOR%5D%5B/B%5D
To our customers: We will offer our customers fine quality products and services at a cost effective price. We will give our customers an excellent service experience. We will treat our customers as we would our family, helping them meet their transportation needs.
Is this how you would treat your family? I now have no vehicle thanks to them in more ways than one. I am a mother of a 2 year old trying to get to work every day. I feel they prayed on my weaknesses just to make a buck and are now not willing to help their reputation in anyway.
Desiree I am so sorry about your bad experience with us. We do our best to treat our customers like family and would never purposely miss lead our customers. When a vehicle has over 163,000 miles on it sometimes you will have a problem with a vehicle that originally wasn’t there. When you brought the car in the first time we were unable to duplicate the problem. The second time the vehicle was brought in we were able to duplicate the issue and at that time we fixed the coil with no charge, and at that time we believed the issue was fixed. When the car had another problem we did have it towed in and yes we did put you in one of our cars until we could fix yours. We did have you sign a new promissory note since the first one that was signed was dated for 12-15-10 and not followed through with on your part, so in good faith we extended the original term to 1-15-11 and since there was a problem with the car you purchased from us and we were going to fix the problem. When we found out the car was not fixable we informed you and gave you the option of purchasing something else in the price range that fit your needs. We allowed you to continue driving one of our vehicles with only a portion of your original full down payment until we found you a car that you would like. When you refused all the other options in your price range yes we did ask for our car back and refunded your full deposit of $650.00 1-18-11 when you return our car. We are still willing to help you with your transportation needs if giving the opportunity.
so after several calls from diffent car dealers and the attorny general and after filing complaints with the ftc and threatining them with dealer investigations and law suits they paid us all that we had put in. if this has happened to you too dont give in just keep pushing and elevating your actions tell it comes to sueing them and if it comes to that do it, i was gonna
I have worked with Ford of Kirkland for two different vehicles now and I cannot say enough about their sales and finance team. Specifically, I recently worked with Kristine and Scott C. to find the perfect car for me. The first one I picked was not what I wanted and I was able to come back, discuss my needs and move into another car. They were patient, funny, quick and listened to everything I said. In addition, they brought their expertise in the auto market to the plate to help me narrow down my decision and place me in the perfect car. My roommate drives a 2011 Mustang and I am in a 2010 Focus. we both LOVE our vehicles and their sales team feel like extended family being available via text, phone, and just calling to check in. The finance department is equally as helpful and caring. John Potts was thorough, listened to my financial needs, and found me the best loan I have ever seen. I had shopped around previously but am now sold on their product, staff, and support. Just go in and ask for Kristine or Scott C. – though all of their staff is great. Thanks guys!
Last week I visted Ford of Kirkland and was amazed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff including sales and service. We also worked with Jim Walen the owner who was super involved in the process and hands on making my experience at Ford of Kirkland one of the best car purchasing experieces I’ve ever had.
Although I was considering other makes and models and was unfamilar with the Ford line up, I was quickly brought up to speed on models and specs, felt no pressure and left feeling informed and well treated.
This experience gets a big thumbs up from me.
Todd Ireland was a fantastic salesperson. Did not pressure me to buy at all. Told him that I did not want to spend a lot of time at the dealership so he got me in and out very quickly. Had a great experience here. Would definitely buy here again.
Was hestant to shop in a dealership but, was pleasantly surprised with Jon and his professionalism.
I bought this car here a couple of years back and have been wonderstruck at the service. Kevin Paddock is a sincere person – talks openly, honestly with respect. A great proffessional – You would know the moment you ride the car back from service. My car is still like new!! Thank you for your service.
Experiance was good, price was good as well as trade in value.
Online add was slightly misleading. Add mentioned bedliner and actual truck did not include it.
Overall experiance was good.
This service department is a joke. A brand new 2010 Ford Fusion (car of the year-HA HA) transmission leaking oil everywhere. Took it in to be fixed. After 3 days with no communication called in to check. The manager found out service had forgot all about it. Had to rent a car and was told anything over one day was on me. Had to constantly call for an update. Took a week. I don’t think they even looked at it. Two days later the same thing. Oil everywhere. It’s been back there 3 days now with absolutely no communication. First and last Ford I will ever own.
Ford of Kirkland services all my vehicles. Jim Cox has been my service rep for more than 10 years. I will only deal with him and his associates. I have tried others, including Ford dealers, but keep coming back to him.
JIM IS VERY NICE TO WORK WITH, OVERHALL EXPERIENCE IS EXELENT.
This is the second time I have purchased a Focus from Kirkland Ford. Todd and Scott made the experience easy, fast, and courteous. They went out of thier way to provide great financing and service. Will DEFINITELY recommend to others and buy here again.

I will NEVER buy another car from this dealership – repeat business my ass. They sold me a car that they don’t know how to service. What’s the big deal, you ask? Well, the car is a piece – the alignment is completely whacked & needs two new front tires, the right headlight doesn’t work & didn’t when I purchased the car (a $250-$500 fix), the car stopped running after one week of owning. I called them to discuss as they tapped my finances when I purchased the car and didn’t have any $ for repairs. What did they do – well, the finance manager drove it around and it was fine. WTF – who the hell is she? She runs finance not car repairs, dumb ass broad! And when I decided that I would just have to eat it and pay for the headlight – I was told that the Toyota dealershp would need to make the repair as they don’t know how to maintenance Prius’. You sold me the car – you don’t know how to maintenance it? Are you kidding? Why sell a car if you can’t even make the minor repairs? How do I know what kind of problems exist from the get go if you can’t even check it out for the basics? DAMN DAMN DAMN. I’ve owned the car for three months and have spent over $800 in repairs. NEVER EVER again. And you know what, I’ve now told my story to all of you as well as all of my friends and several other review sites. Maybe I can screw them a little like they did me.
I would like to thank Marena for giving Ford of Kirkland an opportunity to rectify her original experience with us. Although we are not perfect, we really do try to make every customer happy. Thank you once again Jamie, Christina and Tom

I just bought an 2008 Ford Escape from John at Ford of Kirkland. He was very friendly and welcoming without being pushy. I called ahead of time to let him know what cars I was interested in and he had them ready for me when I got there. I got a great deal on my car and never felt like I was being pressured to get into something I really didn’t want. Thanks Ford of Kirkland for a great car buying experience. I would definitely go back!!:)

RJ my salesman was great. This was my very first car, and I really appricaiate his hard work and patience. He was very nice, and he seemed like he really wanted to help me and to make sure that my car was the best for me, within my budget.
P.S. The boss Greg H (Crazy Greg) was awesome too.
Thank you, Sami.:)
Would buy a car again from this dealership.
Jonathan Sweigert and his associate Scott Creason did an excellent job. They worked with my for almost a month searching for just the right car that not only met my needs but also my budget. They were very patient and understanding as well. I would highly reccomend them as well as their dealership.
Thanks guys!

Jon was a pleasure to work with. He answered my questions and helped me thru the sales process, letting me take my time on the decision. He offerred good data on the financing, even though FMCC doesn’t offer great rates. he dealership was pretty busy when I went in and it took a bit of time to get thru the financing process. Jon made sure I didn’t need anything, but in the end it took longer than I thought it should have once I purchased. All in all, though I would recommend this dealership

The scores should have been: Pricing: 5, Honesty: 5, Questions: 5, Financing: 2, Greeting: 3, Time: 3, Promises: 5, Treated: 4.
Absolutley a great experiance, Jonathan exceeded all our expectations and the entire staff went out of their way to meet our needs. I will refer everyone I know to Ford of Kirkland and Jonathan who are looking for a Ford product.
Jon was great, low-key, knowledgable. Made the whole process really easy and worked with our schedule. I will shop there again and ask for Jon.
This is the second Ford F150 that I purchased at Ford of Kirkland. with in a 17 month period. They have treated me very good and I would purchase again from them.
Todd was excellent and very honest. Easy to work with and able to speak for us and meet our needs. I saw the add on the internet and the price was honored.
I felt that Carl Ludwick was very helpful on selecting the right car for me. I was given the best price from the dealership and am very happy with the result. The dealership was able to give me the price i wanted for my trade, and the price for the car i selected to purchase. Thankyou very much
Best reguards,
Sabahudin Sacic
Todd picked me up at work in my new truck. I had a great experience, in and out in 2 hours. Able to meet the Owner Jim Walen and crazy Greg. Great staff.
My wife and I were very impressed with Rich Camacho our salesmen and how he was upfront and gave us different option that we where looking for and did not try to put us in a car that wasn’t on our list. Being that in the past we have had bad experiences with sales people it was refreshing that Rich was upfront and seemed to be very honest. We also enjoyed Melissa Mckinnon’s friendly demeanor 🙂
David Anderson helped us make an easy car purchase. He let us take our time and was very considerate and helpful.
I bought my 2002 Ford Explorer from Ford of Kirkland in July of 2002 and have taken it there exclusively for service. Kevin has always been great to work with, and the vehicle has performed well for eight years now. When I buy a new vehicle, I’ll certainly put this dealership at the top of my list because of the great service.

What a great experiance! A great deal of the communication happened by text, and when we arrived at the dealership we were treated in a straight forward way that we appreciated after the other experiances we had on our used car search. We love our new car and feel like we got an excellent deal, and were treated very well!
Traded in my old 95 VW Golf (tear) for a 2010 Hyundai Accent. I am very pleased with my new car and with the level of service I received today from Hyundai of Kirkland. I would definitely refer friends and family to Jon. I look forward to dealing with them in the years to come. Thanks Jon! 😀
We had a great car buying experience with Jon Sweigert at Ford of Kirkland. Day 1 he had to move cars for a half hour to get to the F150 we wanted to take out for the test drive. It was frosty out and 8:30 pm. We left that night without a truck but came back for round 2 a few days later and made a great deal. We would come back for our next vehicle.
I’ve purchased various vehicles over the years and Jonathan Sweigert was as professional and genuine of sales professionals I’ve had the pleasure to deal with.
Usually after purchasing a vehicle you can’t find the sales individual from which the car was purchased from, but not in this case Jonathan Sweigert and the find people of Ford of Kirkland were as accessible in the Pre-Purchase time frame as they were in Post-Purchase time frame. The Ford of Kirkland follow-up was as good as I’ve ever seen.
I highly recommend that individuals looking for a car give Jon Sweigert and Ford of Kirkland a call.

No games, no gimmicks, just straight forward honest people working to make a great deal the works for the customer and the dealership. Kristine Parker is a helpful, no pressure sherpa guiding her customers through the process. She took the stress out of the process and made the experience pleasant. Thank you Kristine and Ford of Kirkland.
We have bought three cars from Kristine Parker who works at Ford of Kirkland. She was so knowledgeable of all the vehicles and had a very helpful and honest personality. She really was helping us to get the best deal possible. Kristine made herself available on our schedule. We truly feel Kristine to be an honest person we can trust. When we buy another car it will be from Kristine Parker at Ford of Kirkland. Lee & Liesa Nelson
Update: I have to tell you readers that Ford of Kirkland came through after all. Jim Walen called me this morning and told me how important I was as a customer and that he wanted to make things right. I stopped by Ford of Kirkland and met with Jim and his wife Amy. It’s not very often that you meet someone with integrity but I have to say Jim has it. It is obvious that he cares a lot about their business and so does Amy. They bent over backwards to clear the air between us and restored my faith in their store. I have always respected Dan Lozott (internet sales) he sold me my truck in 1999 and has done a lot to make sure I was taken care. Dennis in parts is always willing to give me the right info and makes sure I get what I need as quickly as he can. A new guy to me Greg the “New Car Sales Manager” seems to be a real nice guy that is honest and wants to do what is right all the time. When you talk to this guy you know you are talking to someone that has a heart. All in all I will return to buy a vehicle from Ford of Kirkland and I definitely suggest you do to
Thank you

I recently bought a used Honda Accord from this dealership and while I was quite happy with sales and dealmaking, I was extremely diappointed with the final delivery of the vehicle. I feel like once the deal was made, they just wanted the car off the lot as quickly as possible.
The used car sales manager complained that he was already losing money on the deal and so apparently was unable to honor the committment to do a nice detail on the car. I specifically agreed to come up in price because this detail job was touted as excellent, but now feel that this was just a false promise to rook me into paying another hundred bucks for the car.
I had specifically asked that the Detail tech look at three things: 1) Seatback pockets had garbage, dirt and goo in them, 2) Passenger window had a sticky smudge, & 3) rear seat cupholder folddown needed cleaning. The only one of these done well was #3. The tech did a half-hearted job cleaning out seatback pocket and on the smudge, instead of taking care or just saying there was nothing he could do, he quite obviously took a razor blade (or some other sharp scraping instrument) to the window and absolutely scratched the bejeezes out of the tint. To my mind the term “detail” means taking care to look at every doorwell, pocket, crease, the trunk, dash, etc. This wasn’t done and in addition I now need the front passenger window re-tinted.
Its disappointing that the detail was done poorly, but what has driven me to write this review is that rather than step up and take responsibility, the dealership is saying they won’t pay to have tint on this window redone since they can’t confirm they did this….so basically I’ve got to eat another $50-100 bucks for the damage they caused to my car. I can understand that since I drove the car off the lot before recognizing the issue was there they cannot prove they did it, but its fairly obvious. My solution to this was to call the used car Sales Manager, Erik and suggest he simply ask the detail tech how the window smudge was addressed. He stated he was too busy at the time to check but
stated he would check and call me back. So, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and guess what? No call back.
The delivery of the vehicle was just so poor, I’m surprised that this is what service has fallen to in these tough times. My recommendation: Go (and send your friends) somewhere else… These guys WON’T make it right…
Happy to provide more detail: jbrenneman (at) hotmail (dot) com
As mentioned by other reviewers, both Jim and Amy Walen went out of their way to solve the frustrating situation. I feel that had I originally been able to deal with them, or thought to ask to speak to them, that issues with the delivery would have been rectified up front. It is now a few months after the resolution, but I wanted to be sure to correct the misimpressions my original review my have caused.
I recently took in my 06 Expedition for some maintenance work. I was prepared to spend up to 800.00 based on quotes from other dealerships. When I arrived Jim greeted me and inspected my vehicle while he got my contact information.
He pointed out that my tires were almost worn out., and other than my transmission fluid, all of the other service items I had scheduled had all ready been done at previous recent appointments!! So instead of spending 800.00 and picking up a vehicle with bald tires, I was able to get new Goodyear tires and the service work my vehicle really needed for a total of $780.00.
Jim and his techinicians seem to really have my families needs as their #1 priority.
The work was done in 2hours while I waited and had a great sandwich at their deli. (the T-bird cafe!). I will be bringing my other vehicles there for tires in the future too. I shopped around on their wireless internet connection and found the prices he quoted me were the best in the area over Costco, Discount, etc.
My oil changes are cheaper than Qlube or Jiffy lube too!! And they use Ford synthetic oil and filters that my car was designed for.
Awesome service. Low prices, and the people there seem to really care.
In May of 2008, I regrettably purchased a 2008 Ford Edge from Ford of Kirkland. The choice of vehicle is not the regretted issue, the dealership is. We were talked into buying what is called the Northwest Protection Package for $795. (Certainly, we should have known better). This package was stated to include a protective coating for the exterior paint, interior leather and fabric protection. We had this package applied to the car a couple weeks after the purchase. My husband was appalled with the terrible job they had done. The car had not been buffed out and appeared as though someone had walked out in the middle of the job.
In addition, there were a row of scratches that were on the car that were NOT on the car when it was brought in. When these two issues were brought to their attention, the head person with the contracted in Detailing company agreed that it was a poor job. It was promised that the scratches would be taken care of when I brought the car back in. The total work done in this package was completed in a matter of a couple of hours and was worth a small fraction of what we paid.
I received a comment card from Ford regarding the Northwest Package which I gave the lowest possible rating. (I never heard back from anyone on this.) Later I find out from the sales manager that I was not suppose to have been sold the Northwest Package with its’ questionable undercoating and that the person who sold me that car had been let go.
There still lied the issue of the scratches that happened to the care while receiving this NW package treatment. I was told by sales manager, Greg Hartshorne, that Ford of Kirkland was going to make things right by having my car re-detailed and every attempt would be made to buff out the scratches. I was told that they would have the car for the day and set me up with a free rental. When I brought the car in for this promise, the fix was demoted to a car wash when relayed to the detail worker and I wouldn’t need a rental car.
I insisted that the promise of the detail be followed through along with the rental so I could return to work. Oddly enough, they sent me home with a car that had been sold and when I returned to work, I was called to bring the rental car back as the buyer was at the dealership to pick up their car!
The caveat of this whole debacle was the financing. On the recommendation of Ford of Kirkland, I set up the purchase of the car with their finance program AmeriCredit. I was guaranteed no hidden fees, early pay off or otherwise, if I were to pay the loan off prior to the first payment due date.
The full amount of the loan was paid the day I received the payoff address; two weeks prior to the first payment date. Within a month, I received another bill for $400 from AmeriCredit as set up fee for the loan. I contacted Ford of Kirkland to dispute this as I was promised no fees of any kind would incur with early payoff. (If you have any experience with AmeriCredit, you are aware of there daily harassment hence I had no other option but to pay the $408.) Mr. Wallie Ballie played me for a fool as he mislead me for several months that the dealership would take care of this matter and reimburse me for this bogus fee.
After nearly twenty fake promises that this matter was being taken care of, Mr. Ballie left a phone message stating that Ford of Kirkland had changed their minds and would not be honoring their promise.
If anyone is even thinking about buying a car at Ford of Kirkland, DO NOT!
Ford of Kirkland provides an outstanding example of what a good dealership should be. I have credit issues, and the entire staff went out of their way to help me. I thought I’d be going in feeling like an outcast, but the team, rather than making me feel like a social outcast, made me feel welcome and valued. My buying experience was outstanding; rather than spending the entire day at the dealership as I expected, I was in and out within just a few hours, driving a new car at an incredible interest rate. I am a customer for life.
