Bought a 2009 honda pilot new have had paint chip, seal in door loose,steering and wheel issues,and bad experience. When paint chip was repaired, they left bolts out and scratched bumper which they replaced. Car was way out of line, and spent 3 hours to resolve nothing, but did get charged 50 bucks for nothing.
My experience was good until a few months later and I discovered all sorts of problems with the vehicle. I feel they disclosed only enough information to sell the car and I should have been wary when they had me sign a binding arbitration agreement. I trusted that since I bought the car from a dealership they would have sorted out any problems before I drove the car off but I’ve had to spend several hundred dollars to fix a few minor problems that weren’t disclosed and am now debating on whether to spend another $1,000 to get the car in inspection order. I would recommend that if you’re going to buy used from them that you take it to a mechanic and have it assessed, it would have saved me a lot of money and hardship.
I had an alternator replaced in December 2007. The part failed less than 3000 miles later. It turns out that they used a shoddy off brand rebuilt part that had no warranty but charged me the price of an actual Honda price.
