My actual salesman Simon was fine. However after my purchase of the 2010 Grand Cherokee at 1000 miles my transmission went crazy on the 14th ST bridge. I took it in and they supposedly fixed the problem and acted like is wasn’t very big deal. The vent for hte defoster started to warp and stick up too about a week or two after buying the car, they said “you are not gonna find perfection in a Chrysler”I asked would you have said that to mean before I bought the car? Next the air conditioning started to make a whistling noise I complained and they said they couldn’t hear it or find anything. It still whistles… next the car started to randomly began to shut off. I noticed the paint peeling off the corners of both sides of the rear bumper. I complained and took it in they said they would have to seek approval from Chrysler before getting it painted huh? Yea that took about over a month I would say and they never called to let me know. I took it back in for the shutting off trick it was pulling and complained to the sales manager Justin about what was going on and I didn’t feel safe for me and my family in the car anymore. He said it wasn’t his place for a buy back to call Chrysler. He didn’t offer me anything no service help extra anything to help me out said he would let me trade it in although it may cause me some pain to do that, by pain he meant my hard earned $$, I only had the car 6mths. I have never been so disappointed in a car. After all this I called Chrysler to complain they threw in 5 yrs of free oil changes off the bat and tried to help me get the car fixed. They have supposedly fixed the shutting off thing so far, mean while I’m paying for a 32k car and drove a crappy little rental car for a week while they figured out what the prob was.
I just dropped the car off to get the paint fixed this morning fighting in the wonderful DC traffic to do so once again. I get to the rental car place and they gave me some beat up little soup can with some hubcaps missing. I was irritated, So I drove back to the dealership and went to the sales department and asked Justin to take a look at this rental and tell me whats wrong with this picture. I asked if he could help me out here, why am I paying 32k for a car that keeps having problems and driving around a junker? He said sorry and “you are not paying for the rental car are you?” I said how come I had to call Chrysler to get some help and you guys haven’t done anything to make me feel better about my purchase. Justin summed it all up by saying “HEY ONCE YOUR CAR IS FIXED IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH US THEN YOU DON’T HAVE TO PURCHASE FROM US AGAIN OR DEAL WITH US” I thought salesmen actually looked to make customers want to come back. Terrible experience all around. It’s especially great to be a laughing stock among people for buying a Chrysler after all the bad news stories about drunk and high workers on the job.

The worst technical service I have ever seen. A few months ago during a routine oil change the technical apparently
spilt oil on the engine and terrible smoke and smell was coming from under the hood a few days. I was
“enjoying” a horrible burning smell inside the for weeks afterwards.
Today I brought my car (Subaru Outback) for a routine oil change and state inspection in the morning. I was
told it would take 2-3 hours, so I left. At the end of the day they called me to say the car will not be ready
today and will need to stay with them until tomorrow. I had to come and pick it up in the same condition I left it
in the morning. The service personnel and their manager did not seem to be very sorry and did not really
apologize. I don’t think they really care.
I have never seen auto-service as poor as this. Will start using another dealership effective tomorrow and
will not recommend Farrish of Fairfax to anyone.
