Complete joke took car in for a recall.then told needed 3000 in repairs.took to another mechanic and I needed none of the repairs.they now want 120 dollars to give me a estimate to y my door won’t open.they are 100% scammers do not ever buy a car or especially have it serviced here a absolute joke!
Do not ever buy a car from this place.the service department is a major rip off they told me I needed 3000 dollars in repairs I took it to another mechanic and I needed none of the repairs! They also wanna charge 120 dollars to look at my door and tell me what’s wrong with it.they just charged a little old lady 38 dollars to plug her tire.honestly this place is a absolute joke!
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a joke of a dealership. Run as fast as you can away from this place. Destination charge on sticker shows $770. But they charge $810 for destination. Sounds like fraud to me. Received price over phone for 2012 Accord with a breakdown of individual charges from Todd. (Never did get to talk to Todd at the dealership, even tho requested to). Plus had several text messaging back and forth with salesperson. Drive 4 1/2 hours to purchase car. When sat down with sales person……..somehow price is $2500 MORE than what was quoted on phone. They added a “pro package” to vehicle, which was never discussed on any phone contact. What a SCAM!! Drove a total of 9 hours for absolutely one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I would give this dealership zero stars and you will too. I will be writing Honda USA, BBB and newspaper. Honestly, I don’t know how these people look at themselves in the mirror. What a shame and sorry state of a business. Do NOT, do NOT, do NOT buy any cars from this place.

:mad:This is one of the worst delearships in entire chicago area. I contacted them about a car, and they said it was avaliable, I talked to them at 5-6 time over the phone, made an appointment to test drive the car, and called them the day i left about the cars avalibility and they said yes it is avaliable, So i drove 6 hours from saint louis to oak lawn to find out the car was sold 3 days ago so they lied to me numerous amount of times to get me in the dealership and try to sell me another car. I would not TRSUT THEM.
Please take my advice. Do not buy from any Napleton dealers. There internet adds are false, they only use that to get you in the door, than they will try and double destination you (670) it is already included in the quote by the way. Also they have a PRO PACK on each car for over 800 dollars. If you have the internet add this option will b forced upon you. Ed himself is a horrible person who admits he only wants the customers money not there business. He understands he has such a large company that no one can touch him. this dealership in oak lawn and in lansing do not keep salesman longer than 1 month. Once the salesman is tired of not getting paid, he quits and never gets his money. BE WARE in their used cars. The internet price is not true, they have a used car 670 dest fee which is illegal!!! truth is I worked there. Ed has no respect for his salesman and treats them like animals, so what do you think he will do to a customer. P.S. when you are working the payment with the sales man, the payments are a LIE. thats why they only ask you about payment, they write down a higher payment then what it really should be, so when you offer a lesser amount, it turns out to be what it should be anyways!!!!!!!! Also the finance department will call you back in a few days and have you come resign at a higher payment! BEWARE i use to work there!!!!!!!!!! Anyways go to orland park or bosak or mcgrath or something. If you want call me and I will direct you to my frieend at Joliet Honda.

I originally purchased my vehicle 4/4/06. I didn’t use dealer financing. I arranged my own financing thereby paying cash for the car. I was later approached by the warranty Manager to purchase Platinum (7) year coverage for my vehicle. I read the terms and understood that this was extending my full coverage for four(4) more years. Well on 1/18/10 I phoned the warranty company about the coverage and was told I only had Silver protection which didn’t cover much. I then had to send copies of the agreement I had which indicated Platinum to the Warranty company and the dealer both claiming not to have any awareness of the agreement I initially signed with Ed Napleton Honda. I was asked how I got the contract and put through several weeks of hassle before getting the General Manager to agree that I had Platinum coverage since they didn’t want to give me a full refund for basically a non-existing contract on their part.
Even though they executed a (different) Platinum agreement for the original 7 years on 2/5/10 no accommodation was made for my time, efforts and certainly aggravation just to get what I had paid for initially in 2006. Customers should not be convinced to buy an extended warranty and then have to later fight to have the initial terms honored and enforceable. This creates distrust in Honda dealers and falls short of the outstanding Customer Service they credit themselves for upholding.
