My experience was not as great as everyone else. I went in to Honda White Plains looking for the 2016 Honda Accord Touring and was told it’s not available and they would call me back. A month later after using Truecar.com, I learned they had one available and scheduled to see it only to be told it was already sold. Disappointed they did not call me when. Regardless, on December 4th 2015, I sat with Paul Espina and described exactly what I wanted including color, all-weather mats, truck tray and the sales tax in not in Yonkers and deposited $500. Paul did the order but when I got home I realized he failed to write down the $500 deposit, he had the wrong sales tax and did not include the all-weather mats and trunk tray. I called back to tell them of the errors and he said it will be taken care of by Gustavo Rengifo, the finance manager when I picked up the car. I called Gustavo and he said they would correct the errors. They final got the car and went to pick it up on December 31. Chris Paranzino the sales manager was very pushy in trying to get me to give them a positive review while I waited for the finance manager to close the deal. It took 4 hours to get the car. Gustavo was no longer working for them, it was now William Edgar. I told Paul of the errors and omission and he told me William will take care of it. When I told showed William the purchase order with the errors and omissions circled, he took the order and corrected the deposit and tax but did not include the all-weather mats and trunk tray. When I complained, he got Paul and Paul said that was not included. I am very disappointed. It came across to me that Honda White Plains had purposely omitted the all-weather mats and trunk tray and the deposit and came across as trying to get away with charging me more tax than I was supposed to pay. It’s a good thing I did not give them a positive review while I waited to close the deal. While I am very happy with the 2016 Honda Accord Touring, I would not buy another car from Honda White Plains. It is now January 21 and am going to pick up the weather mat and truck tray that I have to purchase supposedly at a discounted price but the price I am being quoted is full price minus sale tax. One would think that they would at least throw in the all-weather mat and trunk tray after spending $35,000 and having leased a 2014 Civic from them just a year ago. , I would not go back to this dealer to purchase another vehicle. If you do, make sure everything they say they will provide is in writing and do not give them a review until the purchase is complete.
