One piece of advice….. RUN! Stay away!! go to north land VW! These people will RIP you off!!! They sold me a CPO TDI Jetta, Turns out that it was not a CPO, which they tried and cover up, Had to get a Lawyer to get it registered with VW as a CPO… Just to find out that the car was previously wrecked!!! The horror story doesn’t stop here.. I had to take it back to them to get a speaker replaced and a dent taken care of. They burnt a whole in the paint with a buffer and left all the polishing compound on it to try and cover it up. They had my car for a month getting it fixed, when they returned it the paint look like a 5yr old finger painted it. When i confronted them they yelled at me and told me to get out of there dealership. 5 months later and the paint is pealing off and the is a rocker panel with black primer on it… “Stealership”. You could not pay me to buy another car from ANY KERRY owned stealership. 5 Months later and my paint is pealing and one of my rocker panels are UNPAINTED!!!
They provide poor customer service. I have gone in to service my Volkswagen Jetta multiple times and each time there always seems to be some kind of conflict. They have had to order parts for me on a few occasions and each time I have been promised to be contacting back with in a few days. But that never happens, each time I have waited a decent amount of time (usually about a week) then I am forced to contact them in regards to the part. In my opinion this is very poor customer service and I should not be the one to have to contact them in regards to the service of my car. Especially after they have been paid and they have promised me a phone call.
I purchased a 2006 VW Jetta in August of 2011, the tag on it expired June 2011 but the GM Brian told me it was good till June 2012 (this was the 1st time I felt very blown off). When I went in on August 11 to get a new tag, I was given a temp tag till October 11, 2011. I also mentioned to Brian that the car had a weird vibration and he assured me that this was how all VW’s feel (this was the second time I felt blown off). I did not receive my new tag and when I called noone seemed to understand what was going on. Now I dropped the car off to have the oil changed to make sure my warranty was upkept on Tuesday November 23, I also asked them to figure out the vibration issue that I mentioned earlier. I received a call from Dave in Service on Wednesday telling me the rim on the left front was bent and it would cost $330 to fix. I do not feel I should have to pay this because the rim was bent before I bought the car. I was told Brian would need to make the final decision, I was told I would hear from him Friday Morning at 9 am. He did not call, I called the dealership 5 times today and he never called me back. I then stopped in after work and guess what? Brian left for the day, how convenient. I am not happy with any of this. I would be satisfied with a new rim (free),and an apology from Brian.
