BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! These guys are nice to your face but crooked as ****. Mohammed assured me the car was rust free. The underside looked great; like smooth, new undercoating. Bought the car, took it for inspection. A big, fat fail for frame rust! Someone had coated the frame and underside with thin coat of epoxy and paint to hide major problems. My mechanic says not safe to drive. Mohammed and his partner won’t take car back, won’t even return my phone calls. Don’t go near these guys! I am screwed out of $7,800.
say away from this dealership, we got the car in the day but that night the headlights did’nt work. Someone spiced the headlights together trying to get them to work. I called Ali and he stated the car was sold as is, but it had been inspected by the station that he uses and it would not pass the way it is. So much for having a car inspected. I will be calling the state police to report the inspection on the car. BUYER BEWARE
Overall, my experience was positive with Ali. I found him to be fair and low pressure. Pricing was fair (I would have charged the same if I were him). He’s friendly enough and was patient with our back-and-forth discussions. I only gave three stars because I bought the vehicle cash. I was pleased with the overall experience.
I meant to say, “I only gave three stars in financing because I bought the vehicle with cash.
The owner, Ali, was very nice. I purchased a car from this dealership in Nov 2010. The salesman was not professional– I wish I could remember his name. Instead of allowing me to take the car for an inspection, the salesman assured me that they had their own “top of the line” mechanics look at the car.
Due to my schedule, the first time I could go out to see the car was after work ~7pm after the sun had gone down. The salesman was insistent on me buying the car even though I could not examine the car in daylight. And although I spoke to the salesman earlier in the day to explain that I would be using public transportation and he was willing to give me a ride back to the Metro. When he learned that I wasn’t buying the car on the spot, he told me to call a cab.
-I recently decided to get new tires on the car and I was told that three of the four had dry rot.
-One of the headrests that was thrown into the car is not even the correct one for the car.
-I am continuing to have work done once a month or so. I have accumulated ~$2000 in repairs.
Very poor customer service.
I would not recommend this dealership.
I bought a 2001 Honda from this place. They claimed it was top of the line – ready to go. Within 200 miles of driving from this place I got a Check Engine Light (CEL) for one of the oxygen sensors giving a slow response. I find out that the entire catalytic converter is bad. This resulted in me paying about $350 within weeks of buying the car. On top of that, I find out that there are electrical issues in this car. I didn’t even get that great of a price. I’m really disappointed as they really made me feel that this vehicle was in no need of any repairs anytime soon. I will NOT be returning, and I advise you to stay away too. Go to a major dealership that provides a legitimate 3 month warranty or something.
Ali seems to be a very nice guy, but I am very disappointed with my recent purchase from JNM Auto. Vehicle was $500 over blue book but during first test drive vehicle was clean on interior, exterior(covered in pollen), and drove very well. AAfter first 300 miles of driving, noticed heavy smoking, exhaust pipe separated from muffler.500 miles of driving, major oil leak at rear main seal. 600 miles of driving, brake lamp illuminates. 700 miles, 4 repair shop estimates, i am kicking out $1000 – $1500 for repairs. All discrepancies found; Rear main major oil leak, transmission mounts broken, 2 engine mounts broken, broken front upper left control arm, front brake pads needs replaced, warped rotor, and even a dirty air filter! Car was for sales for $5k, due to poor credit, end up financing for $6k with 2K down. After kicking out 2k bucks downpayment , and now over 1k in repairs, and less than 1k of driven miles on my vehicle, this is the worst deal I have ever made. However, Ali did offer to refund me $200 bucks for the vehicle. I did accept the vehicle as is, but its all about integrity when you claim a vehicle is in excellent condition, you slap your company’s name 30-day tags on vehicle and it is smoking, leaking oil, and at repair shops all while advertising your company’s name. Just be careful when purchasing from here, and bring a mechanic or schedule an inspection when you go to test drive a vehicle from here. I dont even write reviews, and Ali was very helpful, but i don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
We went there to buy a third car for use by our au pair. Looking for a sedan in the $5000 range that could be used to transport our 3 kids. They had a few cars that would have met our needs/price but we settled on a 2004 Ford Taurus. They sell cars at the private sellers price so the car is probably going to be in need of some work when you get it. They don’t put the $1000 to $1500 that big car dealerships do to make the car ready to go right off the lot. Make sure you have a trusted mechanic take a look at the car before you buy it. All they do at JNM is have it inspected and if it passes then they will sell it as is. Our car needed a couple hundred dollars worth of work done after we bought it. Overall, the car was in good shape with low mileage. I would recommend them and trust them to a certain extent. Remember don’t take anybody at their word when dealing with used car sales people. Their job is to sale cars at all costs. As far as used car salesman go these guys are one of the better ones around.
I bought a car from this dealer. It has a lot of problems. Just be careful.
Our family was growing as we are expecting a second child, so we needed to upgrade to a mini van. We shopped for a mini van and went to so many dealers. We found JNM Autosales on the internet selling a minivan and we contacted them. Ali was very helpful and answered all of our questions, we never felt any pressure. The minivan we wanted was not the color my wife wanted but he offered to get us what we wanted with the specifications that my wife desired.
Ali saw us through the entire process and helped us get a great rate.
I highly recommend JNM Autosales and would buy from him my next car rest assured.
JNM Autosales, Keep up the good work and thank you for your service.:)
