In 1955, at the young age of 26, Richard Mastria Sr. became Taunton’s promising new Chevrolet dealer. Located on Rte 44 on the way to Seekonk, Mr. Mastria established himself as one the most outstanding dealers to serve the Taunton market. He represented Chevrolet for 27 years. During his time as a dealer, Mr. Mastria’s young son Rick spent endless hours shadowing his father, ultimately learning the business from the ground up. Impressed with Rick’s knowledge and leadership skills, General Motors awarded Rick his own dealership in 1981, a Buick franchise located in Raynham on Rte 104. Rick was just 27 years old. In 1987, Rick acquired a Pontiac and GMC Truck franchise to add to his Buick endeavor. Rick’s outstanding commitment to customer satisfaction led GM to award him with a Saturn franchise in 1992. Rick built a new building on Rte 44 in Raynham to house Saturn and later moved his Buick, Pontiac, GMC Truck store to another new facility next to Saturn. In 2004, Rick was presented with the opportunity to expand his business by moving into the import automobile market. In one year’s time, Rick, along with his valued management team and loyal customer base, opened a Subaru and then a Nissan franchise, both located on Rte 44. All of Mastria facilities are state-of-the-art and are committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction. Rick’s stores have been honored with distinguished awards such as the Saturn’s Summit Award, GM’s Best in Class award and Mark of Excellence status. Rick has now been a GM dealer for over 26 years and the Mastria family is proud to have served the Taunton/Raynham area for over 50 years.

Absolutely took advantage of me. From selling me a lemon, (broke down 4 times in first 6 days of having it, leaving me stranded over 3000 miles from home). NO RESPECT FOR THE DISABLED! Refuses to let a disabled customer use a service loaner – that is FREE to the non-disabled (a brand new car) IF you have a service dog.
Cost me thousands in credit card charges just to get home because of being broken down everywhere from OK, CA, NV, UT, and then again back in MA.
Which left me w/o my meds, which I need to prevent seizures.
NOTHING was offered to me, my family for the trouble…
Which all happened within the fist 2 weeks of owning the truck! And it wasn’t fully fixed until AFTER 6 WEEKS!

it was a great sale experiance. after the sale i found out the vehicle had been severely damaged. I had also found out that the vehicle was used for a rental car. This was also not disclosed. I met with Rick Mastria himself and was told it will cost me up to three thousand dollars for him to buy it back. Steer clear. Rick Mastria was way to clear on the laws for this matter. It can’t be the first time this issue has come up for him.
