3 months ago i purchased a sonata…a week later the torque converter broke in half..got that fixed by another mechanic…2 weeks later it died again we’ve done several repiars ourselves or by another mechanic-crank sensor, timing belt, water pump, tension pullies, fuel pump, and now the coil module. they said they would trade me a car of equal value but will not return my calls and are never at their lot even when it says it’s open so now i’m stuck with this car that hasn’t worked in about 2 and half months and the money just keeps going in to it and nothings working and they won’t help…STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER LEFT AND RIGHT.
I bought a vehicle from MK Auto Sales on ebay which had this description:

It will be a great addition to your family for all your transportation needs.Exterior its great for the year that was produce , it has its normal wear and tear as you can see from the pictures but in general its in good condition, insight it does have its normal wear but its in good condition for the year it was produce, it does have everything power as of sliding doors and it does have rear ac and heating. factory cd player included. It does have four new tires. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or call me on (614) 316-3544….. Furthermore thank you for visiting my auction good luck biding, don’t bid if you are not serious and if you have 0 feedback please call me before you bid so i can know you are a serious buyer. There is going to be $ 45.00 documents fee and $ 200.00 deposit within 24 hours from the end of the auction……
After purchasing the vehicle and having a friend pick it up 7 hours away and drive it back for me, I wrote the following email to the dealer on 10/12/2009. After not hearing a response from the dealer, I sent it again on 10/15/2009:
—start of email—
I got back home from a business trip a few days after the Venture arrived back here. My mechanic had already repaired all the safety related issues with it. I am quite disappointed with this vehicle and feel that you misrepresented its condition by saying that it has “normal wear but its in good condition for the year it was produce.” Please look over the list of items below and let me know what you can do financially to help me out with these repairs. I prefer an email response within 3 days but will accept a phone call at 231-218-2037.
I’ve already spent $1700 repairing the vehicle and am not even close to being done.
the front brakes needed full replacement including rotors, pads and calipers. the rotors were below allowable thickness to be turned.
the right rear wheel bearing was bad including the anti-lock sensor
the front end lower control arm bushings were bad (essentially they were gone)
one tie rod end was bad
one rear airshock was not working at all and was badly leaking
the transmission fluid smelled burnt and needed replacement
the heater is intermittent and has not been diagnosed yet
the airbag warning light is on and has not been diagnosed yet
this van has the dirtiest carpet of any vehicle I have ever bought
the power mirror control is faulty
the rubber weather seal is missing for a few inches on the driver’s door
the driver’s door speaker doesn’t work
the inside driver’s door panel is missing multiple clips
the ashtray is missing from the pullout drawer
the glove box door is marred/discolored
the rear wiper doesn’t work
the rear electric side vent windows don’t work
there are different size tires on the front and rear of the vehicle
there is some poorly done rust repair on the lower passenger side of the vehicle
the gas gage is intermittent
the driver’s seat plastic part which has the seat controls on it is loose and missing the main screw which holds it on.

After hearing no response, I called the dealer on 10/20/2009 at which time he told me he would call me back after discussing my issues with others at the dealership. After not hearing back from him, I sent the following email on 10/21/2009:
—start of email—
The intake manifold gaskets are leaking so badly that they need to be replaced. This repair adds $550 to the $1700 I have already spent on the repairs of this van. Please respond.
Also, I have received word from ebay that you want to cancel the transaction of selling me the van. Please call me or email to me to explain this so I can take appropriate action.

The dealer has never replied to me.
I bought a vehicle from MK Auto on ebay. Here is an email that I sent to MK Auto on both 10/12 and again on 10/15/2009 with only minor changes:

after not receiving a reply from the dealer, I called him again and he promised to return my call after looking into what he could do for me. He never called me back. On 10/21 I sent this email which, like the first one, has never been answered.
