It’s pretty simple: Sonny is a liar and a thief. Sold me a Mustang Convertible off Auto Trader with a ripped leather seat–promised to get it fixed and of course never did. Come to find out later that the car needed thousands and thousands of dollars in repair. I was just a student at the time and didn’t have that kind of money to spare–I just wanted a decent but fun car to drive, and thought I could trust him and Premier Auto. BIG mistake.
Sonny (and apparently, the entire Premier Auto lot) has no conscience or morals. He will ripoff anyone and everyone–college kids, elderly buyers, single moms–ANYONE. He is despicable and unethical in every sense of the words–I truly feel sorry for anyone who has to be around him either professionally or personally.. Do not make the same mistake I did–buying a used car in the state of Illinois is risky enough as it is, all the worse when dealing with an absolute crook like this guy. Stay far, FAR away from Premier Auto in Downer’s Grove!!!
This was by far my worst experience with a major purchase. Spent $8,000 dollars for the car and then had to take it to a dealership to get the car fixed. They estimated the repairs at another $8,000 dollars. The car dealer sold me a fake warranty as well. This dealership should be closed down. I should of went with my gut instinct when I was there. I was there for approximately 3 hours and they sold about 8 cars and all of the people that were buying the cars looked liked criminals. Well in all honesty the people who worked there looked like criminal as well. After driving the car for two years I finally sold it to someone for 2500. unlike the dealership I told the new owner everything that was wrong with it. They said that they were good at fixing cars so I sold it to him. I myself felt like a criminal for selling this poor man a POS car and tried to talk him out of it because I felt bad, but he insisted. A few days later I saw it on craigs list for sale for 2000.
‘Buyer Beware’ and twice at least. I was too trusting. Calls not returned, e-mails not answered. When a friend told me about the BBB I found out there is a string of complaints against PAH earning them an F rating, and that does not include all the bad reviews spotted on the internet. I had to spend a lot of money putting right a number of problems with the car. I did not know that Illinois does not require a used car to be inspected before being sold, I read about it later. That’s how people like these get off the hook. Sad, very sad.
I bought a corvette from these people It arrived needing a battery. I drove the car consistanty but had no problems for a while, but had to fix a few minor problems which should be a norm. I found out to those who but from Illinois, this state does not require inspection like they do in other states. Buyer should consider that Illinois can sell a vehicle without it being fully inspected.
I wish I would have read reviews of this place prior to going. They are reviewed universally awful all over the internet and even within the Better Business Bureau. I don’t even want to tell my story. It’s too long and it just gets me worked up. Bottom line, don’t ever go there. There business model does not include any form of customer service or satisfaction. I actually ended up with a pretty good car after I paid thousands to fix the hidden problems. Urgh!!!
We bought a Misi 300gt rv4 that looked good on Auto Trader and Cars.com. They sold me a Junk Car. It came with excessive rust, bent rims, balding tires, scratches, it’s alarm kept going off till it killed the battery, and the day it arrived the engine locked up. They told me the only problem was the lifters made noise. Said the pictures were what the car could look like if I put more $$ into it. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. BEWARE Premire Auto Haus.
I flew from International Falls to Chicago to purchase what appeared and posted online as a solid vehicle. Once there, I found the vehicle to be anything but solid. The lower half of the extended cab body panal was flopping in the gentle breeze, the engine was swapped out and looked like a teenager did the install without supervision of hi grade 9 shop teacher.
The next morning, I went back to Premier Auto Haus to retrieve my “fully refundable deposit” and was told the book keeper would take care of charging it back to my credit card later that day… It’s been over a month, several phone calls to the owner of the day (seems like every time i call there is a new owner or partner) and my account still doesn’t have it in…
NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. DON’T BE PULLED IN BY THEIR B.S. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE.
Lying son’s of bitches. don’t trust theses guys. No matter WHAT they say. NEVER go THERE. NEVER. Pay a little bit extra and buy from somewhere else. Never GO THERE> NEVER. BE AWARE.
LAIRS. DISHONEST FU*KS. DON’T EVER GO THERE.
JUST PURCHASED A 2006 BMW 530I FROM PREMIER AUTO HAUS. IM IN LOVE WITH MY VEHICLE AND HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE VEHICLE AND PREMIER. I HAVE ALREADY TOLD MY FAMILY ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP…
Wow, WHERE DO WE START? We bought a 2005 Porsche Cayenne S from Premier Auto Haus on May of 2010. We located this SUV on Cars.com and called the dealer and spoke with Mike (the owner) and Randy one of their Sales man, who were very rude and unprofessional over the phone several times before we made the move of purchasing this car we called Mike to find out about the truck, he told us that the truck was in good shape, non smoker and he had been driving it every day. We liked the color of the truck so we made the move and left a deposit for them to hold the truck. We asked over and over, is there any known issues, is it a smoker’s truck, Mike’s answers were no. We did some research and found a number of complains about Premier Auto Haus, we asked Mike about the complaints on line about them and his story was that he just bought the company and he is trying to fix those issues. Very clear that Mike (the Owner) is a dishonest individual. I fell for his story and bought the SUV, wired them all the money and scheduled the delivery. WOW, the day the truck got delivered to us I almost passed out when I saw the truck. I started the engine, noise coming from under the hood, not a drop of oil, brakes metal to metal, coolant leaking from everywhere, inside the truck smelled like an ash-tray and let alone the interior and exterior condition of the car. We took the truck to our mechanic and it cost us close to $8,000 to address all the issues and get the truck fixed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS EVEN IF THEY GIVE YOU THE VEHICLE FOR FREE. STAY AWAY, AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE.
They are pushy liars. They sell you junk and don’t stand behind it. They lie about
fixing the things wrong with the car. Don’t make a mistake like I did. Don’t buy anything from these guys.
