This isnt my first new car. Being a single woman, I had a lot of trepidation of going in and dealing with someone alone. The one other time I did this on my own, it was a very bad experience at another dealership. I was skeptical when I met Ivan but he put me at ease IMMEDIATELY and there was no pressure at all to buy. I HIGHLY reccommend this dealership to everyone but especially if you are a single woman. Ivan is a salesman that can be trusted and Drew will work like crazy to get you the best deal with interest.
I knew that when i walked into the dealership it would be hard for them to get my finance, and I even thought i would be rejected. Both Jimmy and Erin worked hard for me to get me a vehicle that I will enjoy and Tyler worked even harder to get me finance. I was able to leave with a 2013 Accent when i thought i would leave with a used car maybe from the 1990’s. thanks guys for all your work
I highly recommend this dealer and our salesperson Jimmy D. Quick response and friendly all the way. Very knowledgeable but no sales pressure at all. He can think from buyer’s side and helped us have a smooth purchase. Also they offer very nice aftersales service, following their promises seriously. I strongly recommend buyers to pay them a visit, will not be disappointed!
I would buy here again any day. Jason P (aka Boston J) was very knowledgeable about the car and could answer every question we had. He was honest in dealing with us, and I never felt pressure to buy the car. It really was hassle free. If you want a Hyundai, you have to go here! And make sure you ask for Boston J!
Overall this was a good experience. Russell was very helpful in the buying process and even after. They do not just want to sell you a car, they want you to feel like you have a place for all your car needs.

I first walked into the dealership and met Russ in December of last year and gave my time parameter for the car that I wanted. He did not pressure me for a sale and did not continuously call or e-mail for a sale I wasn’t ready for. Five months later I have purchased exactly what I wanted at a price lower than anticipated and with every expectation met and honored. I appreciate the fact that Russ respected my timeline and did not unduly pressure me into committing to something that I was not ready for.

Amazing staff all around! We were looking to buy our son’s first car and had a certain budget. Jeff Timmons worked with us right from the start. He was interested in what us parents wanted and also talked with our son to find out his thoughts. The price was right where we wanted to be and our son has been smiling ever since he drove off the lot in his wonderful new Hyundai! The sales manager, Greg was friendly and funny, all while doing his job and Mario in financing was very pleasant, thorough, efficient, and up front. I have purchased several cars in my lifetime but this was far and away the best and most pleasant experience. I have to add that I love that we were not stuck indoors for several hours. They wanted to get us in the car that we wanted to be in and that is a great feeling. If you are looking to buy a car…this is the place you want to go!! My salesperson at Kirkland Hyundai was Woody. I highly recommend Woody for anybody’s salesperson. I talked to him over the phone before going into the dealership. I told him what kind of a car I want, and how much I wanted to buy it for. He had everything ready for me. The deal was done even before I went in. He was real friendly, and he was very generous to the guests I brought with me. He seemed genuine, and he was ready and willing to listen to my concerns. He made the car-buying experience easy, far better than other Hyundai dealers I had been to in Washington.
Hyundai of Kirkland is a great dealership! I visited this dealership twice while searching for a car. It was the first and the last dealership I visited, and I left with a new 2012 hyundai tuscon. Woody was very understanding and was not pushy at all. I did not feel pressured to buy from them, and I felt like I had the freedom to search and explore my other options, and I could not have been happier with my purchase! Wonderful experience. Answered all questions truthfully. No pressure at all to purchase. Purchased this car from 3,000 miles away. Very cooperative setting up financing and cooperative with the auto-transport firm I contracted with. Would love to buy a car from these folks again.
Mark was a pleasure to deal with. He seems a genuine and honest person. We had a pricing issue come up and Mark did what he could to make it right. The issue was that the Internet price had dropped by $2000 the night prior to us coming in, but we had printed the price from the night prior and not gone back online the next day after the change happened. Mark also had the higher price from the night before when we came in. We purchased the vehicle for the higher price, then on the way home from our purchase noticed online the price drop. We got in touch with Mark the next day to express to him our disappointment that we were sold the vehicle at the higher price. He said he had not realized the price drop either as the separate department that does the Internet pricing had lowered it the night before and his department hadn’t received notice yet. He worked with his manager and the Internet pricing manager to give us a refund for the difference. I believe the entire situation was an honest mix up and I appreciate that Mark and Hyundai of Kirkland had the integrity to refund us the difference. in our car shopping experience, buying from Mark is the best we’ve ever felt about our purchase. He seems to have a great sense of ethics and does what it takes to ensure his customers are satisfied even after their purchase.
It’s unfortunate that I can’t erase my review because it’s been two weeks now and the dealership is now telling us somebody had made a typo in the pricing and they do not want to send us the refund we agreed to. When I wrote this review they told us it was already being sent. I should have known better, but I guess I didn’t figure that someone would say it’s on it’s way when it never was. I doubt that it is Marks fault or that he even has any control over it as it is Internet Sales Manager Matt Marici telling us there was a typo. I do not know at this point if they will actually pull through with the refund they said they’d already sent or not, but I will be sure to post the outcome when there is one.

I don’t really enjoy spending my time buying a car, but this was as enjoyable an experience as it could be. Wayne was knowledgeable and didn’t pressure us on choosing or buying a car. Once we did choose a car, the rest of the process was straight-forward. We love our new Elantra and I couldn’t be happier with our choices of both the car and buying it from Hyundai of Kirkland.

Hyundai of Kirkland is a great place to buy a car and I would recommend it to any of my family and friends! I flew out there from Colorado Springs to buy the car from my uncle and it was a great experience. Everyone there is really nice and my mom and I loved the beautiful drive back from Kirkland to Colorado!
“There is nothing wrong with the car, there is something wrong with you.” Whether you are customer or not, no one should ever hear this from any company who hopes to keep your business. I, however, did hear this from the Lead Technician at Hyundai of Kirkland.
If there is one company I will never do business with again, it is Hyundai if this is the kind of customer service they tolerate. Which since this lead’s manager was in ear shot and said nothing, evidently they do.
The sales team was fine, but this is the worst service I have ever received from any company.

Mario was very polite and informative about the new Hyundai product. He was very helpful and friendly while we selected my new Accent. I want to rave about the great experience I had at Ford /Hyundai of Kirkland. Now I know that the words “great experience” and “car dealership” don’t usually go hand-in-hand but this is an exception to that rule! Let me explain.
Recently my partner decided to purchase a used car but due to past financial difficulties we were unsure if she would qualify for one. We looked online and found the perfect car listed at Ford /Hyundai of Kirkland. We called and spoke to Jeff Timmons, internet sales manager, and explained the situation. We said that we didn’t want to waste anyone’s time by driving up only to be turned away. Jeff was extremely helpful and understanding. He took the time to get some preliminary information and checked to see if financing would be possible. Within minutes he responded that it would be no problem so we made an appointment to come in.
After meeting Jeff we also met Greg, the sales manager and he emphasized their goal of extraordinary customer service over just trying to sell you a car. Jeff explained the process of purchasing a used vehicle from them and what we could expect with great detail. We never once felt like we were being pressured or deceived by Jeff or anyone else on their staff. Jeff reiterated their goal for you to feel comfortable with their customer service and not feel mislead. They know the importance of word of mouth and only want you to have a positive experience.
We felt so comfortable that we decided to purchase the car and met with the finance department to finish the deal. Steve Maxx, the finance guru, was also extremely pleasant with a great sense of humor. He made us very comfortable with the signing of papers and explained everything with specificity. Again we never felt like we were being tricked in any way. It was a very low pressure and great experience, again a rare event in financing!
So in the end, we enjoyed our experience and their utmost honesty so much that we ended up buying TWO cars that day. How’s that for confidence in their integrity! I highly recommend Jeff, Greg and Steve at Ford / Hyundai of Kirkland. Their sincerity, integrity, and overall honesty made this the best car buying experience we have ever had!

My significant other and I recently bought a car from your establishment; Hyundai/Ford of Kirkland and we felt strongly that we should commend you on the excellent customer service given to us by Melissa McKinnon, Steve Skullerud and John Potts.
We both have had excellent credit in the past; but because of some medical concerns and employment furloughs/lay-offs within the last few years, it has hurt our credit of which we are currently working on. We owned a Ford Expedition that was driven for work and needed to trade it in for a smaller, more economical vehicle because of the need of traveling for work periodically. We had been looking at Hyundai models and had heard good things about your dealership through other customers. We applied through Roadloans because that is the only financing that we thought we could get. We were immediately contacted by Melissa and set-up an appointment to come in. She was so nice over the phone and made us feel at ease. When we came in, we were greeted by Melissa and Steve. They were both very welcoming and greeted us with huge smiles. While Steve worked with us on our trade-in and looking at vehicles, Melissa was working on the best possible financing for us. This system was great! We didn’t have to wait for Steve to go back and forth to find out about financing and trying to test drive cars at the same time. We got what we wanted and had expected from the trade-in, Steve put us into a 2008 Hyundai Tucson with only 13,000 miles on the car! We wanted a car with warranty and low miles and that’s what we got, a car that didn’t look used and hammered but still looked new. John was then given our paperwork after we had all agreed on the car and we were greeted by another awesome employee of yours! John was kind and understood our current situation. He worked on our financing and got us financed through OUR CURRENT BANK at a much lower rate than Roadloans which was 24%.
We will continue to come back to your dealership; Hyundai/Ford of Kirkland when we are ready to buy another vehicle and we will tell everyone about your fantastic team! We absolutely love our new car! Thank you all so very much for your kindness and hospitality.

I had this phenomenal internet sales experience for a super big item (a brand new SONOTA 2011) and all my negotiations and bidding went through without the slightest hitch. This was so good I thought I must write about it.Now, I am a believer. Some big items can still be bought over the web with hassle-free negotiations over the web so long as the person at the other end of the line is the likes of David Kim (the manager that I dealt with). Jon and the Hyundai Kirkland dealership were very helpful to me to get all the information and time I needed to make a decision(I don’t make decisions quickly). I put my trust in Jon and he worked with me to make things right the way I wanted and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again(Genesis Coupe). John Potts also helped me and made sure questions I had were answered in a timely manner.

There were parts of this experience that went well and parts that were terrible. The young guy who was my original salesperson was fine he was interested and kind and clearly new to the sales biz. The second fellow who came along was a pain, clearly just wanting to make a deal and treated me like I was an idiot in terms of how credit, sales, and the auto industry works. I’m female, but finacially saavy and far from the kind of idiot he tried to play me for. The real dishonesty came from their finance person, watch out for this woman – she will lie her way through everything she tries to get you to sign. She flat out told me that she wanted to lie to the finance company and then screwed up the deal so badly that it requried 3 trips to sort everything out. If you do a trade-in watch that they don’t screw you on the value or the payoff – they low balled my payoff and tried to leave me holding the bag for almost $500 in payments on my old loan. 😮 Clearly these people are not the honest ilk, but I still have to admit that I like the car.
I was given a price quote on the phone and spent a significant amount of time and gas to reach their lot to take advantage of the great price. After I had sat in their office (which smells like mold – don’t visit if you have respiratory problems) for a protracted amount of time and they dinged my credit with an inquiry, the aforementioned rebate that was supposed to give the car a great price had somehow disappeared. Of course, the bold-faced liar manager Scott tried to play it off as a “misinformed salesperson” who “didn’t know the pricing.”
I told him I would write a customer review to document my very poor experience with his little bait-and-switch tactic, and he became very defensive and started yelling. It seems dishonesty and predatory sales practices make a sore subject for him. I’d expect a sales manager with a clear conscience would be more composed and try to work with the customer instead of yelling at them.
Bottom line: If you value up front, honest business transactions, don’t waste your time at Hyundai of Kirkland. I wasted 3 hours of my life learning this lesson. Learn from my mistake!
