I was about to head home from school for the weekend when my car would not start. I called Brian Bemis’s Ford dealership and after letting my car cool down I got it started and drove it straight there. The service advisors were so nice and kept me updated while working on my car. They even called my dad to let him know what they had fixed! After only a short time I was on my way home. I had my car repaired over two months ago and it is still running great with no problems! I would definitely return for future repairs and highly recommend their services to others.
I faxed a request for the best price on a Mazda 5. Instead of getting a quote – I received a fax asking if I was trading in a car or not and whether or not I was paying cash. These are common tricks dealers play as a car trade in and cash or financing have ABSOLUTELY zero effect on the sales price of a car. These questions are asked simply to see how much they can squeeze you for on every end.
I emailed the person (Joe Hamblock) as he requested and it went like this:

I watched your video and had a feeling. Your email confirms my impression. Good luck in your search. I have better things to do.
You are a very disrespectful person.
So apparently – according to Joe – my asking for his best price and then commenting that he must not be able to compete (along with his assumption about my personality) makes me a disrespectful person.
Joe did not make me an offer (although I have received about a half dozen offers from other dealers with no problems – and I got an AWESOME PRICE TOO!) and instead has earned himself a spot on this review.
My recommendation – Brian Bemis Mazda uses common sales techniques to squeeze as much money out of you as possible – and when you show them that you are educated and will only pay the best price – they feel it is necessary to turn you away AND to insult you to make sure you feel bad when you leave.
Make your own recommendation from my experience as to whether or not you will do business with Brian Bemis Auto Group!
What makes you special that you have to deal with the store manager? You are rude and kind of a dick. I do run a car lot and wouldn’t respond to you either with that attitude. Trade in or no trade in does affect the sale price of the car cash or not. These are not “tricks” as you called it. You do not know how to “wheel and deal” like you think you do. I would love to see your original fax (FAX who in this day and age FAXES?)you sent to them and the video as well.
When I went in for an oil change the guy in service, Mike, told me my brakes were shot. Because I work, I didn’t have any time to get my brakes taken care of when the service department was open. I told that to Mike, and he said it was no problem. He made sure I had a car from Hertz, free of charge, so that I could get to work and back while my car was in the shop. Never have I had such a wonderful, curteous person to work with when I have gotten service on my car. I’ve never had a free car to use, and was so impressed by that! I’d recommend anyone go to Mike in service because he’ll take care of you.
My husband and I recently purchased a car from Brian Bemis Ford, and we could not have asked for a better experience! Everyone was so friendly, the pricing was competitive and they worked with what we could afford/wanted to pay. I am very happy with my purchase and I LOVE my new car!
I brought my hyundai in for service for its usual maintenance, and the service advisor that had greeted me, Mike, was very welcoming and kind… the employees of this company are very friendly and all were generous to me. Mike had explained my bill thoroughly and everything worked out great!:)
