IF YOU HAVE NO CREDIT, BAD CREDIT, REPOSESSION, or ANYTHIBG NEGATIVE, OR A OLDER CAR YOUR LOOKING To TRADE FOR A SAFER CAR FOR UR FAMILY… THEY DON’T CARE…They lie from the start they claim to work with you… No they don’t..
Also the mechanic is a idiot… Claims OUR mechanic ( ASE CERTIFIED OF 27 yrs) didn’t replace the clutch right..
THIS IS A SHADY DEALERSHIP… Also wanted to state ALL CARS are equipped with a GPS device that is installed and your not notified about it…
Do ur research… Shop else where…
I bought a 04 Malibu that looks in great shape. Within 5 days the check engine light came on. Needed Cat converter, new plugs, new rear brakes, belt, tie rod. Repair shop said the check engine light had been cleared at least twice recently, indicating Shannon’s knew there was a problem and cleared it without performing repairs. Not honest! When I confronted Gary he refused a return for refund. Offered to perform repairs at cost, but I don’t trust them anymore. After $3k in repairs car still sputters and clunks.
All the bad talk about shannons is true inworked for the guy dont buy cars from him there all junk cars from the auction that have lots of problems…the guys a thief and gps on cars is very true there hooked up threw ignition just two wires….just sayin…i know cause i used to work gor him
Gary was very flexible with us, responding to multiple phone inquiries before we drove over from Seattle. He stayed late to give us time to have the car inspected, then was easy to negotiate with. He offered us reasonable terms to allow us to buy the car and leave for Seattle, but gave us 48 hours to have the car inspected by our own mechanic. When our mechanic found that the car need a tune up and a few other small adjustments, Gary was quick to chip in on those costs, and sent a partial rebate check immediately. The car was driven to California within days and is in good shape.
Yea.. My car was good for about three or four months. Just give it time and you will see. Hopefully you got lucky though. If you want a good dealership you should go to Kia or Parr in the furure. If your car has trouble you can trade it in there too! From what i understand, a lot of shannons customers go there with their vehicles feeling the same way i did. They offer the same type of customer service and negotiate price as well. In the long run its safer for your money. Good luck with your car though!
Barry was a great sales person and generally a nice guy, I think like everyone else he is doing his job. However, I do not know if he knows enough information on the cars on the lot. I bought a Chrysler from this dealership a little over a year ago and the car is junk. I drive a lot for work so Gary tried to pin the cars problems on me and that really is not good customer service. I was willing to work with them and have them apply my balance on the car to another vehicle and he would not even do it. I asked if I gave the car back if we could just settle the loan and he claimed he would report me as a repo. The car has been overheating the entire time I have owned and I have been in and out of there with no results. Finally my car breaks down and they claimed they fixed it after I paid to have it towed. Two weeks later I have to have it towed again and they want me to pay for it. Where is the customer the service at this place? I do not think that Gary really cares about anything but sales and I think their mechanic does not know what he is doing either. Now I am stuck with a crappy car that will not even drive a mile down the road without breaking down. I would not recommend anyone waste their money on a vehicle on their lot because if you happen to have a vehicle that turns out to be as bad as the one I have you will not be treated like a valued customer and be taken care of. Instead you will be treated like a dollar sign. Terrible business!!
third vehicle from this dealer..all pieces of crap. i just bought a toyota camry, within 3 mo. cv joint needs replaced, check engine light on, and stereo no sound. I want my money back or a decent vehicle.
yea. sounds about right. I have talked to many people who have done business or knows someone who has done business with this place and they could not believe i bought my vehicle there. I had thought the place seemed like a grat place and the prices were very affordable. My car was complete crap and the owner could careless about customer service.
comenting on adam c and his reply i know that gary wrote the first adam c review beacuse i worked there…..90 percent of garys cars are junk and dont get fixed like they should be hints why his pricing is always below blue book cause there something wrong thats why he gets them so cheap at the auction and expects to double his money with out even fixing the car like it should be… u dont put headgasket repair in the motor to fix a head gaskey u take the head off and replace it the right way not garys way… to the guy with the ford truck burntbyused u werent the first customer i saw get ripped off…i have seen so many ppl come back to this place while i was employed there and 90 percent got suckerd in to the buy or really had no other option i would refrain from this dealer he dosentdispose of antifreeze properly and dosent do thing the write way so if u want a piece of junk go see shannons auto sales there the ones to get that from
This place is great. I shopped for 2 weeks. We went to Puyallup, Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia, and auto center in bremerton of course. We were just trying to find a low mileage, automatic for our daughter for around $5000. There were a lot of misleading ads on the internet that dragged us all over as i mentioned above. And it turned out that the best deal was right down the road from us. I bought my daughter a 03 Dodge Stratus with 53,000 miles for $5000 plus tax. They had the best selection of used cars with low miles at reasonable prices out of all the dealers we visited. Most places have only one or two for you to look at for our price range and they are usually in the “back lot”. They are back there for a reason. Shannons is the best. I highly recommend them. Thanks Barry for the great car.

1997 ford explorer xlt, 120,000 miles . problematic from time of pick up , with in 5 days has turned to a pile of junk , wont start with out foot on peddal , 4×4 high and low make terrible grinding and banging , no acceleration , key wont work any doors,on 5th day will not hold idle, check engine light on , overdrive light blinking and stuck in 4×4 low, and absolutely no dealership support from day 1 and still making payments.
