I live in Wheaton,I will drive to Palatine to know I will be well treated at Grossinger.I came in for an oil change & received a call from the salesman, they were interested in buying my car(I thought it was a joke)Within 2 days I was driving a new 2012! Got a GREAT deal, made a few new friends!Drive the extra mile & be satisfied!
The Grossinger staff was very polite and honest. The first time walking in it felt like i was a regular customer. One of the sales people helped me learn how to drive manual when i was still rusty never thought though i would be able to practice. the staff was very patient on dealing with a car issue and resolved very fast. Would definitely come back for more business and recommend to other people. The Grossinger in palatine pretty much treat you like family
Please heed my warning….DO NOT GO HERE you will be ripped When I asked if the car has been inspected top to bottom they said absolutley “lie” 1 day later the car was leaking oil I called them and talked to the service tech Mitch you know the guy with the personality of a rock. They gave it a car wash…. gee thanks Grossinger you rock. Then more problems and I called and called but no call backs its been a year and I have already put $6100.00 into it and still owe money on it and now in debt cause of them. If they ever close down i will be out front laughing at them serves them right.
This Manny Rallo guy is a piece of work! I went there looking for a use Blazer, after speaking with Manny Rallo about the vehicle… she started emailing my wife at work! He started calling and texting… the sent pics of his _____ !!! Terrible experience Grossinger! I can’t wait for the police to get involved… he has a history of this according to his online reputation.
When I stop by the dealership to browse, I was not sure if I wanted to purchase a Chevy. I’ve always driven Toyotas, so I was a little leery of trying something new. After speaking with Ron, all my fears went away. He was very patient & helpful. Ron answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable about the product. It was a pleasure to work with him. I would recommend Grossinger & Ron to others.
It was the most stress free experience I’ve ever had at a dealership.I was in and out of there in 2 hours with a new vehicle, and the salesman, finance manager made the trip well worth it.YES with guy’s like you I will highly reccomend Grossinger chevrolet.
So how long have you been working for them?
Every person from Irwin the GM, to Don Cooper, Patrick Garcia in sales and Fred in finance were very good to work with. I had an issue using my GM rebate and these guys took a lot of extra time on the phone, etc to make it happen. There was considerable amount of additional paperwork involved due to this problem and Fred in finance “smiled” even when needing to do twice the amount of work normally required to complete a sale. I will definitely buy again at Grossinger Chevy
I was treated very nicely. The only thing that I did not like or enjoy was that I was told that the car I bought would be $13,000.00 over the phone and when I arrived at the dealer, behold it was a mistake in advertisement (the 13,000)so now I had to conform to $967 above the quoted price over the phone. All together I had a good deal; but still I dont believe the advertisement bit.

Louie

BS!
I bought a used H2 hummer from these guys. We made a deal that along with the price a few things were to be taken care of. I bring the car back to the dealer for the service. (touch up paint, steering shaft, and the used car inspection.) I recieve the call that the car is ready to be picked up. I drive to the dealership (40 min) to find they washed the truck and did not do any kind of paint work, They replaced the steering shaft but the steering wheel is now sideways and the used car inspection consists of just an oil change. They said they check the brakes on the car but the rear wheels were never removed. Mitch (serivice) has to be the most unpleasent person to deal with. If you need your car serviced, GO ELSEWERE. The respose from the used car manager was that the person looking at the paint work was short and could not see anything that needed attention. REALLY!. This has been a terrible experience that has left a really bad taste. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS PLACE.
I am to have the car back today. lets see what they have fixed. spoke with mitch earlier and he said that they have no authorization to fix anything other then the paint. READ THE WE OWE sheet that both myself and the used car manager signed. terrible. Lets hope it gets better
🙁
I feel your pain man, I would love for them to be sued and close down and I would now feel bad one bit.
THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIANCE EVER . AFTER I LEFT MY CAR WAS IN WORST CONDITION THAN BEFORE . THEY DID NOT FIX THE CORRECT PROBLEM AND JUST ASSUMED WHAT WAS WRONG AND I HAD TO GO BACK . IT FILLS TO ME THAT THEY DONT HAVE PEOPLE WITH THE NOLEGE AND MOST OF ALL DONT KNOW AND DONT CARE ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING . WILL NOT RECOMEND FOR ANY ONE TO GO THERE . THE WORST MECHANICS AND SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIANCED . IF ANYONE CARES FOR THEIRS DONT GO THERE .
I have dealt with this dealership for three vehicles and each time they have been professional and courteous . They gave me the best price. These guys are great! Make sure you ask for Jody the manager.
I was looking to get into a cheaper car to lower my payments, insurance, and gas consumption(currently driving an ’05 Jaguar). I had found GROSSINGER CHEVROLET had great deals in my price range for 07-08 Chevy HHRs. I get there, we check a few out, then tell me about a great black 09 that was perfect. We get some work together and find that someone I had cosigned for has murdered my credit. BUT, since all the stuff I was responsible for was straight, they were gonna try to work something out and everything would be ok. Come tomorrow and you’ll go home in your black HHR. We’ll hold it for you.
Next day I call before I leave to see how everything is and that the HHR is still there. “Oh yeah, it’s here and we got you taken care of, we’ll see you soon!” I get to GROSSINGER CHEVROLET and the HHR sold after I left the night before. So I’m upset that they sold it AND told me it was there. I checked another one out w/ some guy talking out of his hat and said forget it and left. I get home and GROSSINGER CHEVROLET calls me, “Hey, the black HHR is back, their deal fell thru, and we also have more coming in tomorrow that fit what you’re looking for.”
So instead of trying to go somewhere else and starting all over again, I went back. Sure enough, the black HHR is nowhere to be found, so I proceed to get even more upset than before. They tell me they have a silver one w/ less miles and remote start, and everything else I liked on the black one. They also said we’ll get you a bonus on this one since I’ve been unhappy w/ the service. Now, I told them from the start my target was $250/mo, and that for me, worst that can happen is I drive a Jaguar home. They tell me to get everything together for the paperwork then tell me we’re all-of-the-sudden nowhere close after all this time of “we’re fine.” My mom, as degrading as it is, was willing to throw her name in the mix because of what I was trying to do as far as saving money. GROSSINGER CHEVROLET gets her info, run it, and we’re back to $250 again. We go so far as to put my plates on it and take it home.
I get the insurance on it @ lunch, and fill it up on my way to the GROSSINGER CHEVROLET to meet my mom to finalize the deal. They tell us that now all-of-the-sudden my murdered credit is so bad, that my name can’t even be on the the loan and it would have to be solely under my mom’s name. No way I’m gonna put that on my mom so we tell them no sale. So as I start detaching the keys to it, I tell them, “I just filled it w/ $40 of gas, are you guys just going to take my gas?” They say that they’re going to check. I transfer all my stuff back into the Jag and they get my plates back on it. So we go back in to see what they’re going to do, and this guy who’s done nothing for the 4 nights I’ve been there says “I don’t put gas in customer’s cars.” Are you serious? You say this to someone who was just going to buy a car from you? I asked him, “So you’re going to steal 15 gallons of gas from me? The Jag is only a 13 gallon tank, you’re still coming out ahead, and you have the nerve to tell me you won’t return the favor? After I’ve been jerked around, been baited and switched, and had 4 days of my life wasted @ GROSSINGER CHEVROLET!?” Now bear in mind this is happening @ the center desks/command center of the dealer showroom while deals are in progress. He further astounds me by saying, ” You’ve been here for 4 whole days?” I was shocked that he’d even make such an asinine statement to which I could only reply, “Well, I work during the day like most people who buy cars, you want me to give you my time wasted in minutes?” I told them in closing that once I took care of my cosigner issue, I was pondering coming back, and that my mom was looking to trade her old Lumina in for a new Malibu, but it’s quite obvious that we won’t be coming back here to do it, so it that worth your free 15 gallons, sir?” He had nothing after that and I drove my Jag home.
