I have never had so rude sales representative in my life. Total disrespect for customers and their needs. It is almost as they do not want any piece of the inventory to be sold. I just wonder, what happened with the owner? Didn’t he care about the business anymore? Does he have an unlimited credit from somebody with no obligation to pay back? I stoped several times at the place and saw almost no customers. Only the service department had several women to be served. Prices for a regular service were astronomical. Who in the right mind can afford their services? It is almost like I was back to India.
:confused:I went to the Somerset Subaru and was interested in a used car on the lot that I had seen on Autoshopper. I told the salesperson that I would be there at 3:00 PM and went inside. There was no one around. I never saw a car dealership with not 1 sales person in the showroom. I thought that was unusual to say the least. I was finally approached by a sales women named Dagmar. She gave me the keys and I took the car for a test ride. I called back the next day and was told by a different salesperson the car was sold. I was disappointed that I did not at least get a phone call saying that the car was being looked at by another buyer and if I wanted the car , I would would have to make a descision. I called the dealer the day after that and was told that no deposit was put on the car and that it was not sold. So much for the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. After putting down a deposit. I purchased the car. I was then turned over to Dagmar’s husband “Don”, another salesperson at the dealership. Why that happened, I do not know. I explained that I had a trade in and wanted to have it appraised. I had the trade-in dropped off at the dealer but the dealer never notified the service department that a car was being dropped off. There seems to be a severe lack of communication among the sales staff and the service department. We agreed on a trade-in value and completed the deal, paying cash. Waiting for the paperwork seemed like I was chasing Don with numerous calls to the dealer. I was told many times during the transaction that I would get a call back and never received a call. In todays economy, for a sales person not to call back a cash paying customer is a sin! I believe that the only way this dealer stays in business is because they have a good product, not because the salespeople are good at followup. It was a bit painful to deal with them and I will not be back. I was given a list of dealer prep that was done to the car. One item on the list was that wheel lockes were installed, no locks were installed. When questioned about the locks, the salesman was not able to explain, nor get a proper explanation from the service department. Based on that, I would not bring my car there to be serviced for fear of being charged for work not done. This dealer, from owner, upper management, to sales, to service could use training in customer service. The dealer would do better sales volume in new and used cars, as a result of basic training in customer service and certainly should not recieve awards from corporate. Get the broom out and “clean house”. 😡

Great dealership, good prices and very low sales pressure. Was there for about an hour and got everything done.
