My Beltway Toyota reviewThe salesman was a nice guy. I can’t really put this on him. The problem here is lying incompetent managers and lying incompetent mechanics.
I made the mistake of buying a “Certified” used car from these crooks. During the test drive, all seemed fine so I made the purchase. After a couple of days of driving, a problem with a rotor popped up. Back to Beltway Toyota I go. There is no problem here, they said. They even claimed not to hear that load noise coming from one front wheel. So I took the car to the next closest Toyota shop, Jack Taylor in Alexandria (A great place. Now I go there for everything), who showed me $1,500 worth of problems on this “Certified” car. Beltway Toyota of course claimed that the other shop was just a rip-off joint, while still refusing to see and hear all of the problems that I had already seen for myself. Sheesh. What a bunch of idiots. I ended up back at Jack Taylor’s, who fixed the car. It now rides the way it is supposed to. Run don’t walk if you ever hear the name Beltway Toyota.
