D & C Chevrolet of Westwood

Most people would point to the 1964 Pontiac Tempest GTO and say it was the first muscle car. Some would go back to the mid-fifties and suggest the Chrysler Letter-series cars. Others still could go back to 1949 when Oldsmobile stuffed the V-8 from the 98 into the smaller 88 models. But if muscle cars were meant to bring performance to the masses, one would be stupid to overlook the car that started America’s love-affair with the V-8: the 1932 Ford Model 18, more commonly known as the V-8.
