We purchased a used car from Fields in 2012. I noticed water accumulated inside the headlight but was assured from Adam London that it was only because of power washing and nothing was wrong with headlight. Also noticed the heated seats were not heated during our short test drive. Once again he assured us that it had been inspected and nothing was wrong with it. We purchased the vehicle and attempted to drive it home. Before we even made it home the ‘CHECK ENGINE’ light came on. It turned out to be a cracked hose that was easily identifiable by any certified mechanic. It also turns out that the headlight had a crack in its shell. Furthermore, the heated seat element was completely burned out.
$660 to fix these problems. I called the dealership back and they informed me that “it was sold as is” and that they will not help us with anything… even though they clearly mislead us on it’s existing problems.
Again, these were easily identifiable to any mechanic. Adam London will tell you anything you want to hear to make a sale. Don’t trust a word from him or this dealership.
