I recently purchased a new car from Arlington Nissan. I had a WONDERFUL experience from the minute I drove in and got out of my car. I felt very welcome and valued. I also felt respected, which is extremely important to me. My salesman was great to work with. He helped me find just the right car for my budget and what I wanted/needed in my new vehicle. I absolutely love my new Rogue. I cannot say enough about this dealership and the people who gave me the best car buying time I’ve had. I highly recommend this dealership – and Sam! Working with JJ in finance was great too. He made everything possible and made me feel very comfortable. I will tell all my family and friends to check this place out.

I was in Arlington Nissan a few weeks ago where I bought a new Altima. I had been to other dealerships closer to my home but I’m really glad I went to Arlington Nissan as well. The sales associate I worked with understood my needs and wants. She was very easy to work with and made me feel comfortable. She was very helpful and didn’t press me. I left feeling like I made a very good deal both on the car and in my financing. It was by far the nicest car buying experience I have had. I already have my first oil change appointment. I look forward to returning to this dealership.
Thanks so much for this great review! We appreciate your time and the extra effort it takes to provide your feedback. We feel strongly that it’s important for our customers to hear firsthand from other customers about their positive experience. On behalf of everyone here at Arlington Nissan, enjoy that Altima! It was salesperson’s first night and honestly, I feel so bad for him that I won’t even put his name here. Sales manager is Alex Levkovitch and his boss is an even ruder person.
I went to this dealership b/c they put down 17,200 in a newspaper advertisement 2 times for the 2011 Nissan Rogue. Sure, I knew that was for the base model with FWD but I figured that the next option, which is the base model with AWD would be about $1300 more, so I figured, hey, let’s try and ask for 18,500 BASED ON THE ADVERTISEMENT.
They were completely unwilling to do this. Then, I show them the truecar price quote for the car, which is around 20,100. They were willing to take this offer but not a dollar below even though a couple of other dealerships(who had no advertisements) were willing to be a bit more flexible and let down the price a little bit below the quoted price on truecar.
These are the biggest crooks. Russian sales manager, Alex Levkovitch even admitted to us that the newspaper advertisement is a way to get people to come in, then they sucker people into paying higher prices than they normally would. This is a very deceptive, yet legal strategy. They got some fast talk sales managers who try to confuse the hell out of you but in the end, they fall way short of what they advertise.
Then, when we left, they didn’t care, they just let us leave without asking us back. They knew we were too smart for them and they knew that we caught on to their games. That’s okay, they will get plenty of bad advertising from me for a long time to anybody that I come in contact with.
Arlington Nissan is full of false advertising and false hopes. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. You’ve been forewarned. If you put in an advertisement, you expect the dealership to honor it, not screw around.
By the way, they don’t include the added destination fees in their small print. This fleet manager was trying to tell me that the 17,200 didn’t include destination fees and he couldn’t show me where it was on the ad. Frikin crooks.
Bob Rohrman ought to shut his mouth on TV and start listening to the customer.
Never drove a Nissan, never had an interest. I could not find a car I liked, so, I thought I’ll try a Nissan. Walked in and asked to drive a 2011 Rogue. They sat medown and took my name, address and whatever else they could think of, just to
test drive one of THEIR 2011 Nissan’s.
After waiting for a while, they finally showed up with a Rogue. After driving about 1 mile, I told the sales person the car was pulling to the left upon braking. He
said it’s probably the road. The car continued to pull left upon braking, the saleman then said “We can fix that.” When we
arrived back at the dealership, he then informed me he was mistaken this was not a
2011 but a 2010. They had no 2011’s in stock due to the price of the Japanese Yen.
So, they said they would bring in a 2011, but I would have to first sit down with the finance guy and come up with a price for the car and give them a check for $500, just to bring in the test drive car. So, I did.
The same day, I went to a Nissan competitor who had tons of Rogue’s in stock, apparently they haven’t heard about the Yen problem! Turned out, that day, I bought a 2011 Altima, not a Rogue, from a different dealer, not BOB ROHRMAN. I then proceeded to call Arlington Nissan to tell them I wanted my $500 back because I would not be buying a car from them.
The finance person proceeded to inform that he did not have to give me my deposit back, that he had taken time to find the Rogue! Needless, to say the conversation became very rude on his part.
I then went to the dealer to get my deposit and talked to the GM hoping to hear
someone speak in customer oriented terms, I was WRONG!!! One thing I have to give the dealership credit for, they are all on the same page. Their just reading the wrong book. I did get my deposit back, amazing!
This dealership only cares about one thing, selling A car, any car. They do not
care about the customer at all. Do yourself a favor and go way out of your way to find another Nissan dealer, I did, you will thank me in the end.
We started checking out the used car which we saw on line for our 16 year old son. The price was completely different then what we saw on-line. This sales person comes to us to tell us thats the way the pricing is to get customers in the door…that’s a surprise because when we called some one in sales said different price.
Anyways, we didn’t got any extra information on that car nor any other car as an option. When we said that we didn’t like the color and couple things, then he said that give me the full price and I will give the car you want. Later, sales person to come back whenever you are ready and check the color on line…we told this color look completely different on web or why would we come all the way from Aurora??
Guys, beware that price and the stuff mentioned on web is not you will get but definately you will get the worst customer service from this dealership.
What a waste of time…and long drive we had for the cheap car listed/
We were looking for a used Nissan Quest and had quotes from others in the area. The salesman on the phone gave us an “unbelievable” quote so we went to check it out. The sticker price was $1,500 over the internet price. The car we were looking at, they claimed was an end of the season special, but with 22,000 miles it was totally a used car, probably leased or rented. Then with our trade in (admittedly not worth much) they gave us the sticker price as “the lowest they could go.” We stood up to leave and asked for our keys back (they had taken them to “evaluate” the trade in”) when our salesman returned, he brought the manager who berated us about the price we wanted. His salesman had told us the price to get us in the door! Then when we quoted other dealers he told us that those cars were from Missouri and Kentucky where they chop up cars and glue them back together. We asked if that was something other Nissan dealers did and he said “If you could make $8000 dollars wouldn’t you?” Bought a Quest that day with cash… not from Arlington Nissan.
Short simple comment for the sales manager. A sales person had quoted by son in law a price on a used – not close out as on the windshield – Nissan Quest. The sales person was wrong – misquote – just attempting to get my son-in-law and daughter in – whatever.
When they said they could afford that price – the sale manager came out and I watch one of the most foolish displays of service I have ever seen. First he began to berate them – like they were children and knew nothing. Insteresting as they are professionals – average education is a master’s degree – major responsiblities at their jobs. But then he said something that truly amazed me – that they were wasting his time – instead of his sales staff wasting their time.
So he remembers – this happen Saturday – Febraury 6, 2010 – early afternoon and they were trading in an old GMC. Since I was there I stayed out of it – but I can assure the staff of all the dealerships owned by his boss – that if that is the way that they treat people my family, friends, and I will deal elsewhere.
What is really foolish is the last time they purchased a car – and altima from a different dealer I was so impressed with the sales staff I purchased a new car the same day. Whether that sales manager has at BA, an MA, a PHD or is the boss’ son – any true professional knows that is foolish way to treat anyone. And to think I was willing to write a check for cash for the car they wanted.
Buy the way we did buy a car within two hours from another dealer for cash. By the way – I am a professional – a millionaire who loves to dress poorly to see how I am treated at car dealerships and I am looking for a new work car.
Never again! The finance department refused to honor the price the sales staff offered us. Holding us hostage by not giving back our deposit and license. 😡
We went in with an interest to test drive the 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe. The sale man informed us that he have two 2008 that he could give us a good deal on (demo one in the lot and another in the show room.) He told us $27,999. We told him that we don’t really care for an 08 and we don’t want another red car. We also told him that Star Nissan have a 2009 black for $25,800. He was willing to give it to us $25,000 so we agreed to talk to the finance people. The deal was as follow:
$25.000 price
- 3,5000 trade-in: Cash for Clunkers
- 1,500 Nissan rebate
- 500 Newly grad special
We agreed. We were ready to drive it off the lot
After waiting for like an hour a finance lady came out with a totally different price. First she was trying to tell us that this car is $32,999. Trying to show us the original sticker. I don’t care about the MSRP, that car is 2 years told and already have some mileage on them. Maybe 2 years ago it was worth that much, but not anymore. Not after it been sitting in the dealership since in the end of 2007. Sure it’s 2008 and it’s a demo so it’s considered new. At least to you guys it is. But I worked in the dealership before. That car will lose almost half of it value as soon as we drive it off the lot. A 2008 is a 2008. Don’t try to push it off as an 09 or 10. It’s not! In the future when we want to trade it in, the dealership is not going to care about when we got the car. They are going to be like “Oh, it’s a 08”. It make no sense for anyone would want to pay that much for an 08 when a 2010 is coming out in a month. Matter of fact, I didn’t even pay that much for my Infiniti G, and I got it less than a year that car hit the show room.
After arguing with her forever she left and came back with:
$27,999 price
- 3,500 trade-in: Cash for Clunkers
(no Nissan cash back, no college grad special)
Really? I don’t think so! At that point your staffs have already wasted 2 hours of my time and we asked her to give our cash deposit back so that we can leave. Still, she argued with us pointing out that the car have a navigating system and leather seats unlike the 09 at Star Nissan. Well, we don’t even need that. We made it clear to the sale person that we don’t need all that. In fact, we wanted the one outside (the one with no nav. but lower mileage), not the one in the show room. We have a Infiniti G that have all that gadgets. Everybody who are in a car business know that an in-dash navigating system is the worst investment ever.
If the Finance department will not honor the price that the sale staff offer us, then perhaps they should just get rid of your sales department all together. Why not just have the finance people selling and making deals. I felt bad for that gentle man for losing his first sale. It was such a waste of time. Our family has been a long time Nissan fans. Our parents bought 2 Pathfinders and an Xterra. I myself have an Infiniti. We have never been so frustrated and humiliated like that at any dealership, not at Star Nissan or Fields Infiniti. Never thought that we would be treated so badly.
