BUYER BEWARE! They will do anything just to get you into their dealership. Then they will manipulate you to try to “do the deal” with them. One time they even told me they LOST MY CAR KEYS!! Just try setting an appointment with them & see if the sales person you were working with is still there in a month. BUYER BEWARE!!
Worst car buying experience of my life! Date of occurrence, 6/25/11. First we contacted the Clay Cooley Nissan location in Dallas/Duncanville to find out if the vehicles we wanted to look at were still available and on their lot. We were advised yes by two different people and drove out there. Once we got there we were told they made a mistake and neither were on the lot any longer. We then proceeded to drive to the Clay Cooley Suzuki location in Dallas off Composite Road where we began to enter into sales agreement and had discussed and agreed on vehicle price to be purchased as well as value/price on trade in. AFTER running our credit, the finance manager comes to us and advises they shouldn’t have made a deal with those numbers and tells us the best they can do, which was higher than agreed price. We are extremely disgusted by the fact that our credit was run and an uncecessary inquiry was made which can have negative impact on our credit score in addition to our time being wasted all while our 7 month old was with us. The fact that the numbers were changed after running our credit is an example of unethical sales practices. If there was to be a change in any prices it should have been discussed with us prior to the signing of any paper work or running of our credit. After this experience, I immediately came home and got on the internet and posted this review where ever I could. Found out the Better Business Bureau rating had been revoked. Not suprising after my experience. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AND WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE WE KNOW NEVER DOES BUSINESS WITH THEM EITHER!
We visited a number of dealership in Dallas and surrounding areas and found Clay Cooley to be top notch! They treat their customers very well and did not insult us with the gimmicks that other salesmen try to pull on us. Andy, which was who worked with us went out of his way to insure that we knew about the vehicle of interest to us.
Thanks so much and keep up the good work
Scott Newman is an excellent representative of the Clay Cooley Suzuki dealership! He was entirely helpful and offered respectful, thoughtful, and personal customer service. He patiently answered my questions and walked me through the process much like I imagine he would want his mother to be treated.
This visit with Scott represented the excellence I have known of Clay Cooley over the years. Kudos to the entire dealership for making my visit absolutely outstanding! Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied by everything!
:cool:I know the Kizashi is really nice but other dealerships were trying to screw me on payments and the cost of it was much higher than at Clay Cooley Suzuki. I cant thank these guys enough for taking care of me. Naming a very fair price and a great monthly payment. Rick over there was great and really took care of me. I really appreciate this dealership for shooting me straight and treating me like a real person.
Rick.. thank you for your honesty and hooking me up with a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi that i’m very happy with!
Not a good experience AT ALL!!! Please refer to Better Business Bureau for entire account.
Absolutely nothing has changed since this review was posted. See my post from 6/27/11.
I walked into this dealership looking for a SUV.
The sales rep that attended me was a man named BERNARD.This man had us there unitl 10:30 pm after taking all our info /shook our hands and said CONGRATULATIONS the vehicle is yours .This man had the nerve to ask the manager for money and then prompted to ask us if we had enough gas to get him home. 😕 He takes off in my car the one to be traded in and leaves,We leave in the SO CALLED BOUGHT SUV only to be called the next morning to bring the vehicle back because we were not approved ok of course I was mad threw a fit but what made it worse was when this man(GRIFF) ? who said there was no one above him jumped in my buisness an said that with my attitude they were not going to do anything for me and so I said I would like the money I put in gasoline in the SUV refunded ,He implied they didnt have to .Well I proceeded to just ask fr the keys to MY CAR and get out of that place went outside to vent and my husband went to grab our car from the back ,AGAIN only to find CIGARETT boxes ,butts, and coffee cup, napkins in my vehicle which is a non-smoking vehicle and was detailed before we took it in.Called the same man (griff) out to have a look and he questioned us on how we knew it was him 😡 (GO FiGUre)he took it around to the back just to empty the trash and brought it back around just as we started loading our things back in (GUESS WHAT? )our brand new spare and jack is gone BArnard didnt even have the decency to put the cover back down.So my outraged husband went to let GRIFF know what was wrong and again questioned my husband on how did we know which spare was ours did it have our name on it .
we are there again trying to find out where my tire and jack went no luck all they could say is if I wanted another kind of vehicle when I told them I just wanted to take my car and go home. When going home I felt my seat then to discover ciggarette burns on both of my seats. One thing after another.
Well your so called Manager Griff told me that CLAY COOLEYS moto is we treat you the way you treat us you give us a (his words)SHIT ATTITUDE we treat you like this and that it was my SHITTY CREDIT and I could take it elsewhere.I am the customer trying to bring my money to your sales rep to make commision so why I would make a big deal It is the principal that this stanger vandalized my vehicle and depreciated the value even more they have not contacted me about replacing my tire /jack and fixing my seats so if I was to have a blow out on the HWY they dont give a crap. You guys will have alot of bad reviews on this buisness . Another thing Please if your going to do commercials al least do it at the location were the Sales dont look and talk like they are from the streets.
I might not affect your buisness but I will let all that I can not to go to CLay COOLEy .Mr BIlls by far is my recomendation.
