I’m a veteran and I expect to be treated a little more like a man. Who is the bald finance manager? This guy just struts around like he’s da man. You can forget any price negotiation with these folks. Once they have their mind made up on a price ‘they’ think is fair, the negotiation is over. Then the salesman wanted to put me into a small pickup. After I told him I wasn’t interested from the beginning, he insisted I look at the small truck he pulls up on his computer screen. I never once had any finance manager from Classic in Beaumont, sit down and talk to negotiate price. Forget that young punk salesman…. get rid of him. Get rid of the finance manager also. I’ll never go back. And everyone I meet, I will steer them away from this greedy dealership. All they care about is their commission checks. This is sad….
classics service dept may be just fine if you avoid David Nguyen at all cost. he alone is enough to deter me from ever buying from classic again. or recommending them. It is worth mentioning however that jason and william, both service mgrs, were knowlegable, courtious and genuinely concerned about solving customers problems and answering questions. I was particularly impressed with jasons technical knowlege of chevrolet trucks, and I have a vast mechanical background myself, but I learned a lot just talking to him. but I am appalled that David Nguyen is still employed there when he has a history of speaking to customers this way. its also worth mentioning that no one at classic ever offered an apology for this mans behavior
my saleperson was great. very decent man. the finance dept personel are very professional and good at their jobs. but after youve signed the papers their inner office does NOT make any necessary follow-up calls that they promise to make. such as to your insurance company etc. they didnt even call me to let me know my license plates were in. but the biggest horror story of my experience was a service mgr named David Nguyen. this guy talked to me like I was dirt over a simple question I asked him. a complete arrogant, condescending and snotty pug. I did contact the sales mgr, mr toups, who immediately had a decent and resonable service rep named jason contact me. jason is knowlegable and courtious and was very helpful. but David Nguyen never apologized for his behavior, nor did anyone else. its noteworthy to mention that I have spoken with 2 other classic customers who had the same treatment from this guy, and complained on him, and he is still employed at classic as a mgr
