Bottom line, I was lied to! They got me; I was in a hurry to go to work on a Friday morning and was pressured. I was not to pick the vehicle up until Tuesday, my next day off. Over the course of the next 48 hours, I realized how gullible I was and that I was not getting a good, or fair deal at all compared to other dealers I checked. After calling other dealerships and the DMV for advice, I called the dealer Monday morning and told them that since I hadn’t taken possession of the vehicle, I was not coming to pick it up. The salesman told me that it was mine even though I hadn’t taken possession of it. He called back shortly after that and was on his way to my work and dropped the car off at my work and I was stuck. No one at the dealership seemed to care, even to this day after complaining to the general manager, filing a formal complaint with American Honda and writing letters to the editors at all our regional newspapers. My feeling is that once it’s off the lot and they have their money allocated, that’s where it ends. My advice to prospective buyers is to shop around before settling on Hubert Vester dealerships and take your time so hopefully no one else will be taken like I was.
