If you are looking into buying a new VW, I would really recommend you avoid City VW. Their service department sucks!!! I had just bought a brand new Tiguan but as soon as we got it the car would move side to side, like if the wind was pushing the car. It would happen at certain areas of the freeway. The car felt unreliable and also a little scary when it would get into that state. My wife brought the car to service and left it there for a day. When they returned the car the only thing they told us was that they couldn’t see anything wrong with it. We took it back home and on the way home it happened about 4 times. We waited for a couple of days just to make sure we weren’t imagining things so my wife took the car again. This time they were making jokes that she was making things up, and she stayed there until she could drive with one of the service guys. She was able to show them the problem and the service person acknowledge there was something wrong with it. When they got back to the service area and the VW employee explained to his boss what he had seen, he got yelled at because he had told my wife there was something wrong. What they told my wife was the issue was on the tires, and it would cost 4K just to replace them. Are you F’ing kidding me??? I even emailed and called the owner so I could maybe get some sympathy, but he never replied or returned my calls. They way the handle the situation and addressed the issue with my wife makes me sick!!! We had to go to another dealership, VW Encinitas. In that dealership they were very friendly, they called a VW expert to drive the car, and they acknowledge that the issue was on the tires. They upgraded the tires all for free!!! So if you are shopping for a brand new car, and you’re thinking of buying it at City VW because the sales people are very nice, be wary because once you have a problem, they’ll try to avoid the situation as much as they can.
