Larson is awesome! I told him I had to be out within 90min and they were finished with my oil change in 45.
Terrible follow up service.
Background:
Signed finance agreement and purchased full coverage insurnace binder brokered through the dealership for 30 days of coverage in order to accept a spot delivery (this cost $314 paid directly to the dealer, stupid decision by me, i know!). Turns out dealership couldn’t find a lender for terms agreed upon. Instead, their banks counter offered the signed finance agreement of $0 down at 8% APR to $3000 down at 16.99% APR. There was no way I was signing counteroffer so I took the car back. I cancelled the binder coverage the day I returned the car to the dealership. I followed up with the actual insurance carrier of the auto insurnace binder that I purchased, to make sure the policy was cancelled due to lack of financing by the dealership. They confirmed the policy was cancelled as of the date I purched the binder and that the dealership would not be charged a dime for the coverage. Two and half weeks later, after leaving atleast 8 message for the same Sales/Finance rep who I signed the paperwork with, I have not heard anything back from the dealership. The day I turned in the car, I asked about my Binder refund, to which the sales/finance rep replied that he would have to go through ‘headquarters’ to obtain my refund and that he’d be calling me back. Still have not even gotten a follow up call for status of reimbursement. I plan to send a formal demand letter if I don’t hear back in a couple of days.
