I had the worst experience with Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Warwick. I have had to continuously bring in my Jeep for repairs of which they couldn’t find the problem with until the third time I brought it in. They then told me my car that I’ve had for only 5 months – and had the same reoccurring issue with was completely inoperable and it wouldn’t be worth it to fix the issue. They then tried to screw me and give me much less than the current value of my vehicle. This is something that they should have caught when I first went to them the first week I had the car. Now I am paying the price for their negligence. I will not be purchasing a car from them ever again and I recommend no one else goes there unless they want to be swindled and given a lemon for a car.
Extremely Friendly sales experience. I usually hate going car shopping, but I never felt pressured at Warwick. My salesperson was really nice, and actually did what he said he would. They went above and beyond for me and I would definitely buy from them again.
Let me first start by saying that this is one of the best experinces ive ever had at a dealership. Billy, and Ralph were both extremely nice. Ive never met a sales person who works with people on their days off. Both billy and ralph treated me with the utmost respect. No pressure to buy at all. Everything that they told me ACTUALLY HAPPENED. So many times ive been to other places and have been lied to. I’am so grateful for my experience. I wouldn’t ever buy anywhere else.
I went to Dodge of Warwick 11 years ago to inquire-purchase a Ram truck, it didn’t take me long to realize how incompetent and unfriendly the staff is with the exception of Wally and Jack. I heard very good things about their sister dealership-Port Jervis Auto Mall. The staff there could not be more helpful and friendly…….I cannot say enough good things about this place. Now, 11 years have gone by and in that time I’ve purchased 9 vehicles from Port Jervis. I would have preferred to buy local but it’s too much effort for Warwick Dodge to be polite towards a customer. In the last few years I’ve taken a vehicle there for service and the whole experience confirms why I won’t ever buy there. It must be a horrible place to work because everyone there is so miserable (including the Quick Lube staff.)
I purchased a vehicle from chrysler jeep dodge of warwick in november of 2010. It was one of the easiest and best experiences i have ever had buying a vehicle. The sales person marc treated me with respect and was very honest with me from the start. I wanted to write this review because i was just so pleased with the way they handled themselves. I would not buy a car anywhere else.

Let me say first , that the general Manager doesn’t know what he is doing. I asked about a Dodge ram they had on their lot, The truck price I saw given $3000.00 over then what I saw in the local news papers. I brought in the ad and showed it to Bill Obie, he said that was a miswrite and we cannot honor that at all. He said that without hesitation, seems like he doesn’t care for his job title of being ( General Manager ). So I asked to talk to the owner of the dealership he replied nasty “He’s in a confrence meeting, he cannot be bothered”
So I decided to talk to one of the sales persons, I asked about the pricing from the ad and he also had been nasty and rude about it.
You know I get my car serviced at the Pennzoil Express Lube over at CJD of Warwick NY and they seem like the only respectable people in that building. As I was getting my car serviced there for an oil change, I went to look at a charger in the showroom, and Bill Obie was was yelling and screaming at a customer, then sat down looking at his screen chewing in his tongue. What kind of people hire a guy like this to be manager.
I do believe that dealership has lost my business buying vehicles, but the techs at the Express Lube have been there for me. I will always talk greatness about the Express Lube and the techs there.
Let me start by saying that I have purchased 3 vehicles from Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Warwick and didn’t realize the incompetence of the people in charge of this establishment, in particular their 2 General Managers, until I had to bring my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan in for repairs due to complete failures of the transmission on 2 separate occasions.
The 1st time I brought the car in, I was told by the service tech Wally that they had completely replaced the transmission with a new one that was ordered from the factory. Within 1000 miles, the transmission failed again – I had a local mechanic check the work that the dealership had performed before having it towed back to them. Basically, they did not replace the transmission and tried to perform a “quick-fix” to get it back on the road (which is not what you want to hear when you are driving 3 small kids around in the vehicle).
I confronted Mr. Bill Obie about the situation, who is one of the 2 General Managers at this establishment. His response was that I was obligated under the lease to pay the remaining payments, and I was out of luck.I explained to him that each time the transmission failed I was out on the highway with the kids, needless to say it was the middle of winter! His response, “Sorry I wish I could help you.”
It’s a shame that Dodge did not include this dealership as one of the ones that were forced to close – so that it could not continue it’s shady business practices to this day!
I have filed a complaint with Dodge and have confronted my lawyer about my rights and whether or not the vehicle is protected under the new car lemon law of New York State.
So, for all you future car buyers – just remember Mr. Obie and that other overweight General Manager that run that piece of crap they call a call dealership – they are willing to put you and your families safety at risk all for the sake of a profit!
I took my husband’s Cruiser in for an oil change, and to have the mechanic check some shimmying. It turned out to be two bad tires in the back (steel bands showing through) and a problem with the front suspension (which was still under warranty – no charge). Since it would take several hours to repair, a mechanic even drove my daughter and me home.
We have taken all our cars, of any make, to this garage for the past eleven years because they are honest and capable. We have bought two new cars from the dealership, and have been highly satisfied in both cases. I am always treated with respect and genuine friendliness. I would not go anywhere else.
I purchased THREE cars for my family in April when this local dealer was slated for closure. Sure they were nice THEN, but once I signed the papers- NO customer service. When I bought the cars, I asked they put new tires on just mine (no problem they said). After a short time of sliding & excessive wear, I found out FROM GOODYEAR that they were used tires swapped from a traded in car at this dealership! One is as old as 2003! They are also the wrong size, but despite all this- the dealer refuses to replace them & even wanted me to pay for 1/2! Did I not just spend enough $$ on 3 cars there?! The GM- Bill even talked down to me over this, even after I reminded them they had me & my kids driving on unsafe tires all this time just to save themselves a few bucks & now wont fix it??! He said “we are doing well now, especially since all the other dealers closed & we get their business, so you are LUCKY we are even offering you 2 tires!” That is the word for word quote he said- I promise you that.
They feel they have no one to answer to so can treat you however they please once you buy the car & the deal is done. They care nothing for safety or customer service at all. I wasnt asking for any more than to have had safe tires on my car, & I was there for them when they needed help to not close & lose their jobs; but they do NOT CARE about anything but selling you a car. They think nothing to put substandard/unsafe equipment on your car to save themselves a dollar & could care less if an accident happens as a result. The dont even care when you confront them with proof & act cocky toward you on top of it!
Keep your family safe; STAY AWAY< I am taking them to court & have reported them to the BBB. Go to a dealer that deserves your business and to stay open. I give them ZERO stars.
