I called to make an appointment I was told to drop my car off the night before so they could take a look at it sometime the next day. I called to confirm but was told at that time service department was closed I stated ok well he said for me to drop off car and there are two haldeman ford just want to make sure I have the right one the woman in customer service stated the address I drove a half hour to find a gate locked so you could not drop off car and was told we don’t do night before drop offs once I was there. ill be going to another dealership for service if its that much of a struggle to just get my car there wasting gas time and making my wife who is due in 3 weeks drive the other car for no reason this was a sure sign of the quality of service and help they will offer. Nice job!!!
It was a nightmare from day one. I spent 2.5 weeks trying to get myself or my wife and I into a new lease or a 2-3 yo used truck.
Her credit score was 677 and mine was slightly lower at 624.
After hearing all the bullshit about special financing and how the banks are the problem, it was clearly evident that the dealership was either not motivated enough to make a sale or their banks did not value their business.
I looked at 2 trucks and on a mix of different credit sources in a combo of scenarios (her and I), (just her), (just me), all offers came from Capital One at 16.9% and a jacked up inflated price of the car.
But what got me to squeal was the fact that the dealership requested not only 2 work verifications but a home verification.
After providing both reluctantly, I was not getting the proper deal I wanted. All I heard was what they couldn’t do for me instead of what they COULD do for me.
Finally after it was all I could take, I made an appointment with Brunswick Toyota and in a matter of 2.5 hours I drove out with the truck I wanted, at a price I could afford and at a rate that was manageable (9.4).
FK Haldeman. Its the second and last time I give them a chance to do business.
The final kicker was my financing bank was CAPITAL ONE. And without all the verifications Haldeman asked me for.
So much for a hometown dealership.
First of all, these sites are for people who are honest. The Credit scores you posted are extremely inflated.
Next, You, yourself posted in your first breath that the dealership was not motivated and in your next breath you post, “I looked at 2 trucks and on a mix of different credit sources in a combo of scenarios (her and I), (just her), (just me)” Sounds like a lot of motivation there and it also sounds like your credibility is starting to slip.
Next, sounds like an obvious attempt at deception in stating that the dealership requested home and work verifications, when even a person with an extraordinarily low IQ would know that the is the only source that would require any verifications.
Lastly, I do hope you know someone who can simplify all this for you and explain to you that if a specific bank approves you in a 30 day period, the rate and structure of the will remain the same. In addition, the only truth you have said is the part that the second dealer took only 2 ½ hours. This is most likely true due to the fact that the initial dealer did all the leg work to get the best possible approval for someone with such impaired credit as you.
I do understand that when you go to a dealership and you feel you are not getting what an unreasonable deal, that the next step is to go to another dealership and try there. But when you get the same deal at the other dealership, it becomes truly unethical to write lies about the initial dealer, especially when the initial dealer is the one who did all the leg work.
Its brutal. they sold me a car that I paid $6400 cash for. the front differential went in 42 days. My mechanic said it was def pre existing… the housing had been removed recently. and the stabilizer bar for the suspension wasnt even connected! THEY TOLD ME TO GO STICK IT AND THAT IM BEAT. Im going there monday with a picket and picketing them and costing them customers til they own up to it. I need everyone to spread the word about them.
Don’t buy cars from this dealer. I purchased a 2005 explorer for $6400 and found out 42 days after purchase that the front diffetencial was defective… and had been doctored so the vehicle could be sold. The stabilizer bar was also hanging and not connected. They refused to fix it though its a defect that existed prior to purchase. Come join me this weekend as i picket and protest in front of the dealership. Coffee is on me. The public deserves to know. DON’T BUY FROM THEM. THEY DON’T CARE
I bought a 2000 Caddy drove for 58 miles then the radiowent out, I took it in to the service shop but the general manager Mike STIZZA refused for it to be seen.
I bought a car with a broken inside light, a heated seat that doesn’t work, a 6 cd changer that sounds like crap, the single doesn’t play, the cup holder latch is broken and also the middle console latch is snapped i got the car with these faults…I am not bring it back for these issues!!!!
I am trying to bring it back for reasons i believe are monumental!!!!!!!! I did not plan to buy a car that was not prepared and serviced as it should of been for the lot! Just because i buy a used car doens’t mean i lower my expectatiions i still expect everything to be up to par and to be sound !!!!!!
Do you have a conscience??
If my issue is not resolved i totally believe it will come back to haunt you…Karma
I do feel sorry for your family, for you are not the business man you pretend to be.
As is vehicles don’t have a warranty and are sold with disclosure of As is condition.
I bought a used car 58 miles in to it the radio died when i turned on my blinker. I took it back and MIke Stizza the manager refused to even look at it! My car sat on the lot all day and no one addressed why it was there. I am appauled at their lack of devotion to their cars and their customers. Now what??????? I have a new car with a broken radio, and the dealer won’t even look at. Another disatisfied customer! Never Never will i say anything positive about this dealership unless my issue is resolved! If anyone asks where i got my car i will lie because i refuse to let anyone else get abused by such a careless manager.
😡 Used car buyer beware. Poor customer service. I purchased a vehicle on 11/17/09. By 11/19/09 oil and temp lights were on. Vehicle has been in to service 4 times since and repairs have yet to be done. Dealer insists that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. They offered to trade me out of the vehicle but at this point I can’t trustthem and unless your buying a new ford vehicle their inventory is horrible.
It is a shame that it so easy to slander someone or a business. Truth be told. This customer that had issues with the Audi was helped. We traded her car back in and she gladly took delivery of a brand new car. Remember, there is always a result to a situation. We do care. It is sad that not all feel that way.
