I was looking for a 2013 Chrysler Touring Van.Pressured to either buy it or leave it. Greg did not want to budge any on the price. The dealership was nothing like the radio commercials talk. After 3 hours of trying to find out what my monthly payment was going to be, I left still not knowing. I left and stopped by Jerry Kelley in Adel, talked to Jason and I had the same van the next day for 125 dollars less a month and $6000 dollars less overall price. Do not go to Cass Burch
Took a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee for diagnostics due to constant “coolant low” indicator and was told after pressure check and visual inspection that there was no coolant leak. Fan module was replaced instead, problem persisted and I found online that the problem was caused by cracked cylinder head but Cass Burch refused to admit misdiagnosis. Water pump and gasket now need to be replaced, vehicle constantly runs hot and is no longer drivable. Take your car somewhere else!
IT WAS LIKE THE SALES PERSON DID NOT EVEN CARE THAT ME AND MY WIFE WERE ON THE LOT. WE COULD SEE THEM UP IN THE AIR CONDITIONED OFFICES LOOKING OUR WAY.WE HAD COME WITH THE INTENTIONS OF BUYING A TRUCK. AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES OF NO ONE COMING OUT TO SEE IF THEY COULD HELP US, WE LEFT AND WENT DOWN THE ROAD TO THE CHEVY DEALERSHIP, AND WAS TREATED LIKE ROYALITY, NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DROVE OFF IN A 2010 CHEVY SILVERADO. WILL NOT STEP FOOT ON CASS BURCH CHRYSLER AGAIN.
When I finally got down to making an offer after 1.5 hrs my salesmen Mark gave me the keys to a 2010 Jeep Wrangler to inspect in the parking lot for comparison purposes to the 2007 I offered on. Apparently, they did not take kind to my initial offer (15% below asking) and the owner confronted me in the parking lot while I was viewing the ’10 Jeep. The owner who went by Cass (said he owned the dealership) asked what was I doing looking at his 2010 Wrangler. I stated, waiting to see if my offer was accepted and the salesmen told me to look at this vehicle for comparison. He asked why the Jeep was running and I explained to get an engine idle comparison (the ’07 seemed to be running rougher). He could not fathom why you would want to compare the sound of two engines and asked me the same question 4 more times. I’ve worked on many engines and if you can compare a 3 year old motor to a new one that is the same (both 3.8L) it is a good idea to do so. By the forth time he asked me the same question and I answered the same way I said “Why are you giving me such a hard time?” Well he lost it from here on out and yanked the keys from the ignition while I was standing to the side of the vehicle and told me to listen here young man (I am 29 years old military officer just back from Afghanistan). I sell Jeeps and have been doing this for 21 years. I’ve never had anyone talk back to me before. I answered, if you try to give me a hard time I’m going to talk back. If you dish out crap…you get crap thrown back your way. I’ve never been one to back down from a pushy dealer. I’ve been to hundreds of dealerships and never had a salesmen treat me this way. He then stated “You must have some bad DNA in your blood.” We went back and forth with verbal arguments but no swearing. Eventually, he asked again why I was upset. I said “I’ve spent the last two hours here trying to work a deal with the salesmen.” You obviously didn’t like my offer and have come out here to give me a hard time. I am not happy with your insults to me. “What insults” he proclaimed. I stated “I guess if I tell you your DNA is bad that’s not an insult to your entire family?” Furthermore, at least tell me if the offer was rejected and give me my application back. That applications mine now he stated along with the copy of my drivers license and military ID he refused to return. At least give me my SSN # back. He answered “Fine, but you can’t ever step foot in my dealership.” He came back out with the torn out part of my SSN from the application and told me to leave. Obviously, I left having wasted two hours and with the worst dealership experience I have ever had. The worst part was the salesmen Mark was very nice. I was honestly trying to get a 4-Dr Jeep Wrangler and the owner said Mark is not allowed to talk with me. I guess it’s ebay, for sale by owner, and craigslist from now on. Stay away from Cass Burch Chrysler!
