I would like recommend anyone to Burnsville Toyota for any services done. The last 4.5 years has been fine and did get a little irritated from some of the services along the way but this year 2012 has not been good. I got my oil changed, rotated tires, and fixed recall stuff. Previously I had my tires rotated and not checking before leaving one of my lug nuts was different. So I can’t go back and complain about it since I can’t prove it. And now I can. Before I left I looked at the car before leaving and sure thing The same thing happened again. They added two more (total of 3) different kinds of lug nuts. I brought it to the service rep and he was making excuses like “they’re too rusty. We didn’t put it in” and trying to make me a liar. I told him that I know my car and I know it was not those lug nuts. After firmly voicing my concern he finally said to bring the car back into the garage and they’ll change it. So I was like “okay”. Before I left I made sure that they were changed but didn’t look closely that the ones they’ve changed were now some random lug nuts and now my car is swerving a bit on the freeway. I had also told my dad to look at the lug nuts and he says they are totally wrong ones too. So called straight to the GM and told him what had happened and the Service Manager’s calls today and pretty much made his argument with a bunch of excuses and pretty much saying that I’m lying. DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOTS OF TURNOVERS THAT DON’T KNOW CRAP! STILL NO APOLOGIES ON HOW THE REP TREATED US. I hoped this helped whoever is reading this.
Purchased a new Toyota and told them to mail us the plates when they got them. The plates didn’t arrive – called the dealer five days after the 21-day temporary license expired. Bill asked if we had talked to the office across the street (?) and then checked with them himself. Sure enough, the plates were sitting there. No apology, but he said he’d mail them to us. BV Toyota had four chances to make this situation better: 1)Didn’t mail the plates like they were supposed to, 2)Didn’t call us after the plates had been sitting there for 5 days, 3)No follow-up call from the salesperson 4)No apology for their screw-up.
Buy far the best place to buy a Toyota. Shopped all other dealers and Burnsville was hands down the best place to do business. Fun to deal with and very fair pricing.
