Upon arriving at the Sands Chevrolet lot,we were greeted by Dani, the new guy.We talked to him about trading in our 2013 Silverado and wanted to look at a couple of vehicles we were interested in.He went right to work in getting the process started and then introduced us to Jon, his supervisor.Once we decided on the vehicle we wanted,Jon did a great job in getting us a very good deal!My wife and I appreciate what Jon and Dani did for us.Their work ethic was top notch.Thank you guys for getting us our 2014 Impala!

My opinion of the dealership totally changed from my most recent experience. The staff at the used car department are very friendly. I originally was very nervous. I left happy with my new purchase and not regretting like my past experience.

There was little pressure. The price could always be better anywhere…as well as the anecdotes. I was treated with courtesy and the salesperson was very professional. I would have no problem recommending Sands Chevrolet to a friend.
I have been a loyal Sands customer for about 8 years. My family and friends have purchased 11 automobiles from Sands, both new and used. I have always been treated exceptionally well and the sale staff and management are all very helpful and honest. I am buying my 12th car today. A brand new Camaro that I have wanted for many years. this dealership is a quality organization and in my opinion if you buy a Chevrolet anywhere else you have made a mistake. I will continue to buy cars from Sands Chevrolet only. Cyrus was very helpful and is just another great part of the service at Sands.
After spening time at the Surprise location and being run threw the ringer, made a phone call to the Glendale store where James took the time to listen to my issues and was able to meet my needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another vehicle from James in the Glendale location. Can’t say the same about Surprise.
I bought two cars from chuck he was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. thanks Chuck.
I’ve bought 5 vehicles from Sands and have been happy with all of them. I think the boys are great saleman and I don’t think I could beat the pavement as hard as they do! They are very dedicated.
I’ve bought one vehicle from Chuck and the customer service was excellent! Thank you!
I have been dealing with sands for a lot of years and i have always been treated well there just bought a truck form them and will buy another in the future
Run dont walk to next nearest dealership in town. Do not stop here. You will regret it. They are very high pressure and very OVERPRICED scammers. They have no interest in what you want nor do they care all they care about is themselves and heaven help you if you need to deal with them aftter purchase. They are cold hearted and very cold blooded. They also do not stand by their offers. THIS DEALER IS A RIP OFF
Buying a car is supposed to be fun and exciting. Thanks to the dealership as well as the “salesperson” Ernest Hickman, I can’t wait to get rid of it. Chevy cars have no design, no style, no class and then you throw in how you are treated (mistreated) while there, lets just put it this way – save yourself the money and run don’t walk or take a bus in the complete opposited direction of this dealer. At least to somewhere else. No wonder GM is going out of business if they let their dealers treat their customers this way and with the non-design, technology and lack of style themselves not to mention the people there that are trying to push them on you. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY TELL YOU BECAUSE IT IS NOT TRUE!!!!!!! It is no wonder GM is going under and undoubtedly and hopefully this dealer will as well. What comes around goes around! I give this dealership about 10 thumbs down!
So I made a visit to Sands Chevrolet in Glendale in early October. To get right to the point negotiations were hostile. Granted my credit is no peach the treatment received made me feel like I was incarcerated or some type criminal just because of the way I was talked down to. Making matters worse after I had decided that the situation was pointless and wanted to leave the finance manager wouldn’t give me the keys to my vehicle back (they took them to inspect the trade) until he had his chance to try and knock me down a few notches into settling for the deal they put together.
Now about the deal. First of all I had stopped at another dealership previously to do my due diligence in shopping around and pricing things out. I was offered $4200 for my trade however they didn’t have the vehicle I was interested in buying which then brought me to Sands. Sands Chevrolet only offered $1000 which was completely ridiculous. Secondly the down payment they wanted was more than the first dealer had offered on trade. The monthly payment they figured was right at $500 when I kept telling them I wasn’t going to spend more then $375 a month. At this point I had been at the dealership for two hours and things were going downhill fast. I told the manager that I just wanted my keys back and I was not going to buy.
Early January rolls around and I get a call from the dealer by a man named Tom Scott. Tom proceeds to tell me that the management of the dealership has changed and he has looked over my paperwork and says he can make the numbers work and he would like me to come back in. I told him that my previous experience was very unpleasant and I was reluctant to come back. He said “if we cant make the numbers work in your favor I will get your car washed and throw in an oil change”. I agreed to come back and try again.
Round two begins. When I arrive the sharks were courteous and the faces were new. My first thoughts were that maybe things will be different. Tom is not there but they quickly find another sales person to work with me and the sales manager sits in on the deal as well. No later then 20 minutes into negotiations the same numbers I saw in October appear. I tell them the same thing, “No”. This time though the sales manager, Ernest Hickman, takes things even further. He was absolutely persistent in pushing the down payment which was a months wages. I told him that I can not only give you $X dollars in 21 days. I would have nothing to pay my bills with. He said “that is not my problem and there is no other way the deal can work”. I followed this with “Well I am in no hurry to buy anyways and now must not be a good time just as the first time I was here”. He followed with “Why cant you give me $X down” I then reiterated. I am going to end this with Ernest Hickman was very rude and declined to give me the car wash and oil change I was promised for coming back.
Stay away from these people. They are the typical poorly educated weasels that sell used cars. They will try to stick it to you and ar rude about it. I will publishing my own review site on this dealership shortly with the full story in detail.
