I’m most certain that this was my last time that I ever went back to Life Quality Service department and perhaps would reconsider buying another BMW from Life Quality sales!
I was charged, over charged and scammed by the Life Quality BMW service department.
After paying $2700.00 for service ( 1200.00 for parts (and 1500.00 labor?) the service advisor stated that my main computer needs to be replaced because it was broken it kept popping messages on to the screen ( DTS malfunction, DSC malfunction, Tire pressure monitor malfunction… etc,
Also stated that my shocks needed to be replaced, something else and else in total of additional $6700.00?….
I picked up the car, went to my local mechanic where he performed wheel alignment, changed 4 tires at (275/each) not 475 as in Life Quality…., tuned my computer and all my malfunction messages disappeared and the car drives and feels like new again!!! I guess I didn’t need all $6700.00 worth done on the car to make it right!!!
BMW??? Hahaaa…. I rather go with Mercedes Benz next month!!!
I think BMW lost a few clients! My brother and myself have previously purchased two BMW’s CASH!!! And that would be our last!!!
We bought 2 months ago 2 BMW’s from this dealership with a premium packacges. Our salesperson manageged to order the 2 cars without BMW assist program that comes free for 4 years. Also he did not get us signed up for the promotion of up to $600 per car if your are a BMW financial services client.
To date, the problem is still not solved.
I didn’t buy my car from Life Quality but I have used their service a couple of times and have been extremely disappointed. Their service department is so despicable that not only will I never utilize their service again, but they make me think twice about purchasing a BMW in the future. My service advisor was Brendan B. He is a rude, obnoxious individual to put it as nicely as I can. He was sarcastic, inconsiderate and disrespectful! The manager Nick isn’t any better. He never bothered to return one week’s worth of attempts to contact him. He states on his invoice that a customer’s satisfaction is his #1 concern, but his actions prove otherwise. He ignored my calls and my concerns. Life Quality’s service is horrible!!!!!!!!!
Most unprofissional business I ever seen. service is bad .. very bad … no honesty at all .. over charge ..
disrespecting people and donot accept cheks do you beleive
they accept cash only for service???????????????
THe buying experience was fine. But once you drive out of the dealership you drive into service hell. The service department is the worst. They never have any loaners. Take to long to diagnose the issue. They deny all warranty claims. THey upsell unnecessary services. I will never bring my vehicle to Life Quality unless you are prepared to wait a week and be overcharged. Tkae a look a the Yelp comments.
My new Steering wheel was swapped while getting service. Receive the car with an old steering wheel and shift knob. Original new sport steering wheel and knob was swapped/stolen while getting service department at Life Quality BMW
I would run far away from Life Quality. The sale experience is fine but the service department is terrible. The service department upsells and offers every excuse to claim that a repair is not covered under warranty as they make more money charging you. The sales managers make promises then pretend that they were never made. Stay away, I wish I had.
I was told by Jose that I could turn in my 2008 328i and not be charged for any wear and tear if I leased a new BMW today!
Jose lied!!!! Three weeks later I was billed over $2000 for wear and tear.
Stay away form this dishonest salesman and dealership. This is the 4th BMW for me, and unfortunately my last. Management refused to honor the agreement.
Have contacted the BBB, BMW usa Headquarters, and the Attorney General. Hopefully someone will do the right thing.
This is my second internet purchase of an automobile, and as you might expect it requires a high degree of trust to conduct a long distance transaction. Life Quality was very sensitive to my desire to know and see as much as possible about the car prior to purchase. This led to an informed decision, and they were completely honest with me in every aspect of the process. The price, the follow through, and attention to detail, exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering the purchase of a new or pre-owned vehicle. This is a professional store comprised of individiuals of high integrity.
SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS
A lot of my friends have bmw’s. One of them does not want to buy BMW because of service which was provided at Life Quality BMW in Brooklyn. My brother had issue with them; his side CD player was not playing mp3 cd’s and they could not diagnose the problem and did not want to fix it. My other friend gave his car to fix and they broke something else. My car was not repaired because of education of technicians; I had to go to NJ to repair my car.
Less people buy and like BMW because of Service Providers like this one.
life quality bmw sucks big time!
I have had a Pre owned BMW that i have many service issues and have to keep coming back and paying a charge for work that is never corrected. In teh 3 years that I have had the lease – My wife has driven the car less than 18,000 miles. Main reason – she is a afraid it will over heat or the dash board will start flashing problems. Then I have to pay to get it towed because the BMW Warrantee has run out. Just great – Now I have to drive it there and wonder how I am getting home?
