BMW South Bay does not need your business. I tried to buy a car today (8/1/10) at South Bay BMW. I had thoroughly researched a 2011 X5 diesel. I went to the BMW website and selected the options/packages. I planned to pay in full by check, well over $60K. The receptionist said the salespeople were busy. I waited 20 minutes. I inquired again and she said the salespeople were too busy. I handed her the spec’ed out sheet from the ‘build your own’ section of the website detailing the X5 I wanted to buy. Still too busy. Glad to see BMW is doing so well which is good because they will never get my business. Twenty minutes later I bought a Lexus 450 hybrid. Better mileage, more reliable, better value, significantly less repair costs (all corroborated by Consumer Reports and other independent reviews) and, most importantly, no attitude problem.
Hey, South Bay BMW, when you are chasing those deadbeats who default on their car loans and it takes you a year to get them into court before they turn over your trashed vehicle that is now worth 1/4 the price, remember me, the guy you ignored, who was ready to pay in cash.
I would go back in a second to have South Bay BMW sale to me again. I felt so welcomed. They offered us tea, water, snacks from their wonderful cafe. Just felt like I was purchasing a car from a family member instead of a dealership. I hope the service department is just as great. We have not had to bring it in yet but will definitley post about the service when needed. :D:D:D
😀 i absolutly love this dealership! my service advisor richard was very concerned and considerate of my time.. he even hooked me up with a loaner! they go by reservation and first available wasnt until 1 week later. however i had a flat tire ( not covered under warranty ) and he made it all possible to get me something to ride while i was without my car.. he understood my needs completly and i had my car ready exactly at the time he said it would!! i was pretty skeptical in coming to south bay bmw .. from seeing all the “bad” reviews from like 5 diffrent dealerships including them (however ever , a little percentage of peope who go on sites and post reviews for the good time we shohuld all take the time and post good reviews.. ) only the angry , snobby, stuck up ,people come & talk $hit about these guys not cool… there is deffinetly a lot of angry people on goggle and yahoo. yelp etc.. etc.. how about taking the time and posting the good reviews.”gesh” as far as i know south bay bmw WON the CENTER OF EXELLENCE award a guess to dealerships that means . u ARE The best!! so apparently they cant be that bad.. maybe next time u think of servicing at a dealer instead of us trying to compare dealers by via”REVIEWS ” we should call and ask the service department or sales if they have EVER won a CENTER OF EXCELLENCE award.. as far as them .. they must be proud because they have a big a$$ trophy in the middle of their show room.. :p so it must be a BIG deal for dealers especially BMW & MINI :cool:!! thanks service for you happy go luck “appointment makers” and for the free loaner! next time ill buy my car from u guys!!
