I just had the worst dealership experience of my life with these guys.
Jason Marquardt, service “manager”, made a mess of a recent repairs and then not only refused to stand by his shop’s work, he spun a few lies to cover his tracks.
Seriously folks, you won’t BELIEVE how badly these guys screwed up my car.
The story is too long to tell here but these “service technicians” attempted to replace the catalytic converter on my beautiful B5 S4 under warranty. They couldn’t get it right, screwed up the job six ways to Sunday and then refused to stand behind their horrible workmanship.
They sent me home (a three-hour trip) in a car that was making a metal-on-metal grating noise at the rear end. It was a Saturday and nobody was around so we had to make a sketchy call as to whether or not the car was safe to drive home with a four-month old in the back.
They also UPSOLD me on a bunch of other repairs to the tune of $1500 and they screwed all of that up as well. Just horrible, horrible mechanic work. The kids they have in the back to work on your car DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
Then, they ALL started lying to cover their mistakes.
Francis, the owner’s son and general manager, refused to help me at all. His service manager was lying to him and he stood by the guy, He actually called me a liar on the phone. Between the two of them, they simply screwed up an easy under-warranty repair job, ripped me off by upselling me to other repairs (which were not done properly either) and then stonewalling me when I started complaining.
Please contact me to hear the details of this story. There’s much more to it and, as I said, I have documentation that lies were being told by the North Shore staff.
