Hollis was very helpful and polite while working with us! The closing was, in my opinion, a polite, but high pressure sales pitch for extended warranties. READ everything before signing! I was hesitant in signing the Vehicle Service Agreement for Mechanical Parts while my gut instinct said do not, but I did. Mistake! AFTER I read the 13 pages I found a part of the agreement I did not agree with: VI CONDITIONS TO COVERAGE, Letter K: You MUST take Your Covered Vehicle to Your Selling Dealer for ALL repairs covered under this Agreement. On day 3, I asked for the Agreement to be canceled. I got another polite, but hard sales pitch, in my opinion, to change to a bit lower interest and New Car Platinum Agreement on the 2012 Ford. Why put all this pressure on me to get a “better deal”? I simply wanted to cancel. Who is going to make money on this Mechanical Parts Agreement? The only one who benefits from the agreement is the dealer, not the buyer. Why would the dealership try to upgrade the deal with the same constraints? I would lose money, simply put. Yes, the closer did finally cancel the agreement, and I left happy. NOTE: Beware of other dealerships who implement these sales techniques, which simply put, is probably all of them.
Dealership reported to Better Business Bureau. Brought car in for 60,000 mile tuneup for 7:30 AM appointment. Staff showed up around 8 AM. Dropped off at Mall, had to keep calling for updates. Was told my car needed over $3,000.00 worth of repairs, so I had battery and brakes fixed. Driver was not told where to pick me up creating more problems. Next day car would not start after new battery was installed, so brought car back for additional repairs. They got me a rental car I told them I did not want, then did not call Enterprise until 3 days after I returned the car. Enterprise said they would issue me a refund. Car still would not start, and parts of a sponge were blowing out my A/C vent, so I brought the car back again, and they kept it several days, letting the technician take it home, so I told them to replace the fuel pump, and did not have any other problems. Dave Fogel the owner called me, and was verbally abusive because he claims I cost him rental expenses for 3 days.
