I work in the Detail Dept..I just want people to know that if you buy a new BMW from us dont think its beinig washed right.. 1. The car was we use scratches cars so much that the owner Tim demands we wash his 2012 750 and his wife 550 by hand. His son is the same way with his M3.But customers cars get washed in the car was. 2. We use dirty towels to dry off your cars. They lay on the shop floor , get walked on etc. Then we wash them and use them again. Some are so old they are almost literally black. (I will post pics to prove all this). We have a shop manger who when mad will slam car doors so hard they almost break, drive your car fast and slam on the brakes, and will overcharge you. If your car is left in our shop overnight or longer expect it to sat in, ate in, most times we leave all the doors open and the battery dies.
I said if i ever buy a car it wouldnt be from BMW of Peoria. Pics will be coming soon to back all of this up
Repeat buyer from BMW of Peoria. BMW’s are so addictive!!! I love love love their free maintenance and overall low cost of ownership. I have bought all of my Bimmers from Peoria BMW and will continue too. They are very competitive on prices. They for sure know people shop on-line. They also are very detail oriented. Go there!!!
I bought a used BMW X5 V8 year 2000 from BMW of Peoria on Dec. 13’10. I bought it from Carl Luthy the sales Advisor and the Sales Manager Matt Kauffman. On my test drive I noticed service Engine soon light and a tilt in the steering wheel. I mentioned these to them and I was led to believe the service engine light was just a service warning and the tilted steering could be an alignment issue. They made a deal with me saying that I am to fix the service engine light and the tilted steering. But once I bought the vehicle and started to drive it for a day or two I noticed lot more issues with it. Rear lights, license plate lights, burning smell from car, they had only given one set of keys (which they never told me was all I was going to get), the custom stereo that was installed by previous owner had made the steering mounted control (factory audio controls) useless and the multidisc changer useless and waste of space. Also the Sub-woofer that was in the custom audio was missing. I took it to an independent and very well reputed auto repair shop to diagonize the issues and here’s the list: Valve Cover gasket replacement Rear bulb socket replacement and possibly wires CV joint boot replacement Front brakes replacement Wheel alignment required Power steering fluid was wrong and has caused issues No additional set of keys And concerns with Custom audio Battery needs to be replaced I started calling Carl Luthy for the initial issues I noticed (before I got a full diagnosis from the auto shop) but calls were not returned and then I went upto the GM of Sales (Matt Kauffman) again calls and my email not returned. My total charge to fill all of this will be around $4,000, most of which are safety related issues not just convenience. A reputed dealership like BMW of Peoria used the trust I had in them to take advantage of me and dishonestly do business with me.
Chris Schwarz is the rep we worked with. He has a ton of bad attitude. No respect for customers. He treats like you are the worst thing in the world. Whoever his manager is, supposed to fire him by now. But whatever.
These people create more problem than what car had before just to make more money. I had my car in body repair for 1.5 months when it suppose to be finished in week. I still have many issues from last year and still not fixed. I went to service for some issue and after they inspected the car there is lot of problem.
Trust me.. I know.. After working here for so long i see how they lie and cheat customers
I went there, and I wished I didn’t. Every single word he was saying was a story. I guess what I read about them was honestly correct. Do yourself a favor and never go there. Liars.
the most terrible car dealers in USA is Sam Leman group BMW of Peoria, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, go to Springfield or Davenport. That Chris and little tim leman are something . If the Boss is a bad person , so what about that snack Chris.
Absolutely right
GM of facility is a big story maker, so how do you rate his salesmen. Terrible, stories makers, unbelievably cheaters. Especially when you sit down with any, any, of them…Finally the accountant makes you feel dizzy, keeps telling you : bear with me, bear with me.. All something else. If you wanna buy BMW go to Davenport, IA. or even better to Springfield, Il. Leman tim and co… My Gosh, they are something else.
I should of listened to my friends and not buying from BMW Peoria (Sam Leman).I didn’t believe what they’ve told me. But they are the closest to me. A liar (and that’s not unusual there for a car dealer) sold me a 2008 X5 black that had a few problem since I left the establishment, I called right after I left on the road and he asked me to bring it back…I did several times, and still they couldn’t fix it, everyone of them says something, finally I asked the manager (he called himself a manager, please go see him),
about the car fax, he said it should be with my purchasing papers…Which for sure they don’t put it unless you ask for it, I called him back for it and he said the owner is not going to hand it to me. Finally, they called me and ask me to put such amount ( more money plus my car ) and trade that piece of …. for 2011 X5 brand new.. I agreed, Jim the finance guy, cheats with the paper, he’ll get you lost when talking with you and confusing you. Chris was the salesman who sold me the new car. I paid including the new bra for that, then, I changed my mind, they said they’ll refund my money for the bra, after the finance guy Jim asked the finance company who handle my loan, and he said they’ll refund the money and I must sign a paper stating that I decided not to put the bra so I’d get the money back. I took the car there to finish what I paid for..( interior protection seats and floor spraying, outside paint coat protection ), and I believe that is not done, only because I do not trust Leman and his employees. I called the little Tim Leman and told him they put the bra for me after I decided not to and I had signed the paper, he said he couldn’t do anything for me and he cannot please me…SO HE WOULD NOT PLEASE HIS CUSTOMERS… I bought a dodge van before from Dodge Leman and sold it to me with a bad transmission. But I was lucky I went there and started yelling and they gave me another one. MY ADVICE TO YOU PEOPLE : DO NOT BUY FROM BMW Leman Peoria and do not deal with the big boss TIM. They are stories makers and bunch of cheaters.
Big story makers at BMW of Peoria. They sold me an 2008 bmw x5 awd, with almost little over 14000 miles on, looks great car, but may be the previous owner sold it to them because he got tired of the tires problems he had, and the salesman never told me. Sure, him and his manager Matt are the biggest story makers, liars enough to stuck me and screwed me with it.
1- After I left, lights immediately came up on board for bad tires, I live 80 miles away from Peoria, they had me going back and forth to their dealership to fix it. First time they said it is tire pressure and had no prob. Then, next day I called them, took it back they said they found the tire is all messed up. They replace only one, the next day another tire was showing on the board they said had to come to my town and picked it up and gave me the smallest courtesy car they have, stiil I am not enjoying even driving it since I bought it my wife told me there’s something wrong with it and they screwed you up. My x5 now still in peoria at their establishment trying to fix it. Every time I called their ignorant manager Matt he never answer or called back, funny, even the sales person that …stupid one too, never called me back. Means they know what they’ve done. Previously I bought from Sam Leman a Dodge van and sold to me and they knew that the transmission will last me only 30 days, after a big arguement, and I warned them that they’ll be on news that night and I will run a big ad in the Peoria Journal about how they lie to ppl. they took it back and gave me a very good one. Please learn from me, that is a good example about the BMW of Peoria. I am not scared to give you my email address, write for me [email protected]
Something is not right here!! I have done business with BMW of Peoria in the past and everytime the have gone well above and beyond to take care of me! It sounds like you got a car without your wifes approval and now you are thinking of anything to make your dealer look bad!!!
Isssub1 what is the real problem here? If sounds like you are a repeat offender of buying cars and wanting to take them back for some reason.
