I bought my first used car from the Kia Store Louisville. I had never bought a new or a used car before, so I did not know what to expect. Like everyone else I know the stereotypes that go along with used car dealerships. Car buying from the Kia Store was one of the more laid back and least stressful things I have done in awhile. There was actually more stress in picking out my computer than my new car. At the Kia Store I had a very knowledgeable salesmen with me who answered all my question clearly and confidently. He gave me a price and explained why that was the price. It was just a nice relaxing day at the Kia Store.
About 5 years ago I bought a used Dodge Stratus from a car lot called Used Cars Louisville it was a buy here pay here kind of place. I GOT RIPPED OFF. The car was a piece of junk, but they put a ton of make up on it, so I thought I was buying a good car. I realized I had been hosed a couple days after I bought it, but it was too late. Fast Forward 5 years, the car barely runs, scared me to drive it to work may be worth a dollar TOPS. Well I heard the add on the radio for the Cash for Clunkers deal running at the Kia Store. I traded my car in and got a Rio for about $7000. A BRAND NEW CAR for $7,000. The Service was great, the car is great, I AM VERY HAPPY!
I am a new mother and it was time for me to get a new (or in my case used) moms car. It was a lot easier to look for cars on the internet this go around because of obvious reasons mentioned before. I had trouble finding good car dealer internet sights from a lot of the big named used car dealerships in Louisville. A friend of me recommended the KiaStore.com webiste and that really helped me. It pretty much compiled every new and used Kia, and other used vehicles that are any of the Kia dealerships in Louisville. The website even has place where I signed up for updates on any cars that came into any of their dealerships in Louisville that were in my price range. Once I got into the dealership the process was super fast. Went right to the car I wanted cause I knew it was there, I already knew the price from the email, I took it for a quick spin around the block, got back the salesmen had all the paper work ready to go, and I was in ad out in a flash!
Bad salesmanship all about greed. I paid too much for the car. I don’t believe I received any of the company incentives and they all went into the sellers pocket. Whoever heard of negative equity of 2/3rd of the vehicle’s value. Call the manufacture before buying or check its website. I know this now but did not then and yes they got me.
I was looking for a used car in Louisville, and the Kia Store had exactly what I needed. I didn’t even plan on buying a car that day, but everything just kind of fell into place. Prior to the other day I had never been to the Kia Store before, but I am really glad I gave them a chance. The service was excellent, the salesmen didn’t put any pressure on me to buy (they actually let me look around without following me). In fact I initially went to the Kia East location and started looking at the Sedonas. I sat down with a salesmen and figured out all the accessories and attributes that I wanted in my Sedona, my salesmen found one at that the KIA store on Preston HWY that had everything I wanted in it. He referred me over there, they treated me just as nicely, they showed me a great price, and that was that. It was quick easy, low pressure, I didn’t feel like I had to beware of getting ripped off. Every car dealership should be run like that.
