This place was a example of the stereotypical used car lot.. high pressure, incompetent sales staff (were totally clueless about the cars they were trying to sell) and the integrity and honesty was the worst I have ever encountered.
If you walk into this place expect to be screwed from every angle.. financing, service, and pricing.
I wouldn’t accept a free car from this place!
These people can not be trusted. Besides a sleazy attempt to get me to accept absurdly bad financing terms they also brought out disclosure statements for me to sign AFTER the sale was completed. I had given them the money, and ownership had been transfered and they then wanted me to sign statements saying I had been told about damage to the car.
I went in to buy an RSX we came to an agreement on price, and I approved the purchase. I already was already approved for financing at several banks. So when they pushed me to finance though them. I told them if they could put it together in 15 min, and could beet the 6% I was already approved for I would do it.
After something like 30 – 45min. A manager took me back into his office and begin high pressure attempts to get me to finance though them. He told me that even though I had a high income and strong credit that I did not have “car credit”. So no one would give me financing, but that he though his contacts was able to work some magic and get me approved at 13%. He became very confrontational, and insisted over and over again that no bank would loan me money.
I was annoyed by the sleazy stunt, and left with out buying the car. Then next day they called back and offered to lower the price if I would still buy the car. So I went back with a check from one of the banks that had already approved me for financing. I took in a copy of the bank note showing the 6% rate, and that I qualified for far more than I was actually loaning.
We completed the sale. I walked to the sales guys desk to get the keys. He pulled out a form he said he was just given by the manager and asked me to sign it. The form was a disclosure about damage the car had suffered. They did not bring it out until AFTER the sale of the car was completed.
