The oil was changed and the tires were rotated. Double checked to make sure all warning lights were reset.
They did an excellent job and there was nothing I could see that they could have done to make the experience any better.

First… thanks for that letter from Pat Whitaker… I really didn`t think it was possible… but it happened. Second… thanks to my sales person Patrick Agbebaku who closed my deal ” ON HIS OFF DAY ” That was very… very special to me… he didn`t have to do that… but he. Third… thanks to the finance manager Sergio Solis… I know he had to work very hard to get me in that 2010 with my limited credit. It all started with a small piece of paper… no bigger than a 5×8 picture… but it was bigger than a lottery ticket… because I came out looking like a million bucks. This is my second new car with Sterling McCall Nissan in Stafford… Texas. That whole place is incredible from top to bottom… sales to service. I won`t to say thanks to everybody at Sterling McCall Nissan in Stafford… Texas. THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST.

We pretty much feel the same as most folks do about the car-buying experience … would rather have a root canal. We’ve bought enough vehicles over the years to know how the “car game” is played. This time, however, we were much impressed from the very beginning. We’d had a prior experience at another Sterling McCall dealership (Toyota), where we were descended upon like road kill by vultures. Worst case scenario, we figured we could drive the Rogue at the Sterling McCall Nissan store (it’s closest to our home) and buy it elsewhere. To our surprise, nobody was lurking in the parking lot, and we were courteously greeted by Patrick Akbebaku as we entered the showroom. After driving the vehicle, we informed him that we intended to try several other small SUV’s, to which he replied, “That’s fine. If you decide on a Rogue, come back and see me.” As is customary, the sales manager (in this case, Troy Cecil), made his obligatory appearance. Rather than going into the “buy now” routine, he actually provided us with impartial comparison information about all the SUV’s we were considering. There was no pressure whatsoever, and he didn’t even get into numbers. We loved the Rogue, and almost wanted to begin the purchase process then and there; but we just had to drive pretty much everything on four wheels to be certain. We even went back to Sterling McCall a couple of times to try the Rogue again … once more, there was nary a hint of the typical “What’s it gonna take to get you to buy today?” routine. A few days later, after deciding that the Rogue was our vehicle of choice, we returned to SMcC. Negotiations were professional, civil, and low-key. After doing all of the research about invoice, holdback, trade-in values, rebates, cost of similar vehicles, etc. (a good couple of hours on the computer) we had come up with a comfortable number. The final price was actually lower, and we got a bit more equipment than we expected. Ten days later, we bought another one (yeah, we really love the Rogue) … same treatment, same cordiality. These were cash transactions, although the finance representative has to get involved. Once again, there was no pressure to purchase those add-ons that reap huge profits for dealers (paint sealant, fabric treatment, tire warranties, etc.). We just signed the papers and drove off. The Rogue is an exceptional vehicle, but every Nissan dealer has them. What matters is being treated with the respect and dignity we deserve, but hardly ever receive at auto dealerships. Sterling McCall Nissan has indeed earned our business.
