Worst Car Dealership Experience Ever.
I would like to have the time wasted by this dealership back. Cheap and deceptive sales tactics, that are unnecessary.
I do not understand why a dealership would operate this way.
Do yourself a favor and go some place else. Read the reviews. The negative ones are very accurate. I chose to ignore them myself, and now, here I am, writing one of my own.
I recently traded in my 2006 Hummer for a new 2014 Honda CR-V and the whole buying experience was great from the time I first walked into the dealership to the signing of the contracts. I recommend this dealership to everyone.
This place sucks!
I personally Know Scott Demasso and Kevin Brodsky the partners & owners.Dave Skinner, both are very honest and caring about the customer first. Dave is an excellent Service Director and just a real nice guy. Scott is always smiling and glad to earn the business.
I would definitely recommend this dealership for sales & service..
Took my car back for alignment. After spending 9 hours at the dealership the last time for new rear brakes, new tires, service, alignment. The alignment was still off.I did not have the time to call or go back to them right away. I was not treated well. The attendant asked me if I ran over a log and why did I not call right away.I admit I should have but that was no way to treat me.I felt so uncomfortable and had to deal with this unfriendly aloof service. No apologies were made for me taking time off from work to come back to do something that was supposed to be taken care of the last time. When the car was ready the attendant told me that it was driven and there was a slight drift and they switched the front tires around. In an attempt to try to explain what was happening before I was silenced with the following rude comment. “Well it is not drifting now .How’s that!”
I am still upset
Tried to buy a car from space coast Honda today. Walked past sales guys on the lot…nope didn’t get acknowledged. Hit the inside of the dealership…didn’t get acknowledged. The kiosk lady took like 5 min after staring to me to ask why I was there. I said I want to look at a car. No one would come help me. After even longer one guy walked up introduced himself so I shook his hand and told him my name. He just stared. So I repeated it. Told him I wanted to look at a car. And he still continued to stare. I said I want a car. He said (I swear to god) “I’m gonna be busy later.” I was like wow this guy is not busy at this moment but he can’t be bothered to help me or find someone who can. So I tried to sit there and wait it out but my temper got the best of me and I told them all that it was fine I would go buy a car from another dealership and I walked out highly upset. And (crickets) they just stared at me as I stormed out to my car and left. I thought they sold cars. I thought they would want my business. I have always had hondas they are my fave car and I would have kept buying hondas till I got my license revoked for senility. Now I’m not sure what to buy.
I took my car in for service; it was in all day got my car back and the alignment was off after having the vehicle all day! I have had to take my vehicle back at least three to four times after every service because one thing or another was not right or not there before the service..been here waiting 2 hours for them to fix the alignment and still no update!!
I purchased a car 2 years ago from this dealership, took mycar for a short test drive. We got back to the dealership and sat down to discuss my trade in, this felt like a ping pong match. Once the trade in was negotiated and financing terms were put through I drove off, simple as that, right? Wrong! When I was on my way home I tried turning on the radio, didn’t turn on! You would think they would have caught that before selling a 3 year old used car(06 Acura TL btw). Call the dealership and they say “go ahead and just bring it back in”, easy to say for the dealership but for those of us who have to drive an hour back, I don’t think so. Called Acura instead and found it to be a 1$ fuse had blown, fixed it myself needless to say. As for the honesty part from the sales staff, forget it! Had a detailing service added to my loan for an extra 600$. Still haven’t used it so I called the dealership to have it removed from my loan, the answer I recieved was “sorry, we can only remove that in the first 30 days and there would have been a 225$ penalty, however since it’s been a year we can’t refund it”. REALY! Funny how my salesman said I could remove it at anytime and it would be prorated! Trust me the management won’t help you resolve any issues either as all I got was a slammed-door to-the-face. Trust me when I say “I’ll never buy from space coast honda ever again nor would I recommend them”. Never trust what they have to say when you sit down with their slaes staff, always look at their fine print, whatever happened to making an honest sale?
Not a big deal but seat belt was jammed between seats. Taking high school tennis team to a game and needed emergency support. They told me to come right in . I did and they stopped everything to fix the problem. Result. Six screaming teenage girls happy and safely buckled in. Good job Space Coast !
The service was great. Good prices, nice people, and quality work.
Bought a used truck from this dealership about a month ago. Had to go through the typical car dealership haggle with pricing. They got there money’s worth out of me even though I feel I got a fair deal on my purchase. I had to keep on my toes because of the constant number changing over, and over again.
They did screw me out of my trade in. Kept pulling the “where do you want your payments” ploy instead of “how much are you willing to spend on this truck?” Had to go back and forth with them several times. Be on your toes! These guys are NOT your friends! They are there to make $$$!
I hope writing this review will save someone the from making the mistake that we did. Since this was the first new car that I have purchased, I didn’t think that I needed to look the car over for paintwork. Low and behold after two weeks of owning the vehicle, I found 3 different locations that had been painted (and poorly). Upon contacting the dealership…..everyone that I spoke with acted as if I was mistaken. So…I thought I should just talk with the owner, Scott DeMasso. He was as useless as the rest of them. They all denied any paintwork and became very defensive and became aggressive…especially Mr. Skinner. Since the deal was done and I knew that I had no out….I just wanted to know what happened to the vehicle and they still denied all body work. Space Coast Honda sucked every bit of enjoyment out of my new car buying experience and I hope karma comes back to them with a vengance!
Dave skinner and your service advisors (I cant remember all names, Mike ect, john,) have been servicing my element since it was purchased in 2003.
This vehicle now has 115,000 miles on it and is still running strong. Overall I have been very satisfied with all service provided. The only time serfvice seemed to be a little less then I expected was for a short period of time that Dave skinner was away from the dealership. When I fist started to buy my Honds in jan 2003 I was not at all satisfied with your sales staff. They did not discount msrp at all and offered a redicules amount for my trade. This resulted in my ourchasing elsewhere.
Recently I spoke with one of your salesmen and he was very professional and a farcry from the one I dealt with some years ago. I will speak with him again when a vehicle comes in that I am interested in (New Crossover)
I read a review on internet that was very negative to the service department. I strongly disagree with this as I have had over 6 years of excellent service.;)
I am giving this business a bad rating because their service department is deplorable. Representatives of the service department are frequently obnoxious and incompetent. They are more professional when they know sales representatives are watching them, but not much. Unbelievably rude and smug.
On a $200 service (in which I had waited at least four hours) they missed that I had a dead battery causing me to get stuck and miss an important appointment. I suspected this was the problem and the dealership told me I would have to schedule an appointment in a few days as they were booked! Another Honda dealership found the dead battery immediately, and replaced it the same day.
Employees at McDonalds exhibit more common sense and professional courtesy than the service representatives at this dealership. You can count on being ignored and having to wait all day for a $34 service scheduled in advance.
