I had a very pleasuble buying experience, when
I finally decided to buy the 2012 Xterra Pro 4X, from everyone on the Customer Care Team! The efficiency and customer support I received from everyone at the dealership was outstanding. I took advantage of Nissan’s end of the year clearance savings and financed through NMAC as well for even more bonus cash. The APR % rate was better than my pre-approved finance rate from my credit union! I would like to thank my salesman Rich I, and Chris and Jerry from finance for their support throughout. I was extremely satisfied with entire process and would highly recommend it to others!
We went from sign & drive to not having a deal at all! We believe financing screwed up so badly With the numbers they rushed through, they couldn’t live up to their end of the agreement. We put $400 cash down and after their deal fell through they refused to give us cash back. We then dealt with manager Paul who was the most arrogant and condescending person I have ever dealt with. A real all smug jerk. Needless to say, not only would we never deal with this dealer again we would warn people to run elsewhere.
This is a typical action from this dealer. They are scam artists.
I have many new cars over the years and the buying experience at Smithtown Nissan was one of the best I have had. Matt answered any questions I had and overall was teriffic to deal with. When it got to the financing part of the deal I spent time with Frank who was also great to deal with. I have never been a repeat customer at any dealer that I purchased a car from, but I would be a repeat customer at Smithtown Nissan.
i have been a customer of this dealership since 2001, buying all my maximas, and then servicing them, there. my experience with sales and service has been outstanding. i even service my other cars (not nissans) there.
today i traded in my 2009 maxima and leased (for the first time, have been always buying before) a 2012 max. the salesperson, Al Schwartz, provided exceptional service, quick, courteous, and to the point. i have experience with at least 4 other dealerships on the Island, and, although good, they do not come close to smithtown nissan.

This is the 4th car I have leased from Nissan Smithtown. The service department is exceptional. There is a large comfortable waiting area. This time I had a salesman that topped the charts! I recomment Matt Brown as the best salesperson I have encountered at this location. The promises he makes can be counted on. They have my business for the next lease too.

Joe was a great help! I wasn’t sure I was ready to purchase/lease a car during my visit which he knew but still gave me his attention. He answered mine and my parents million questions about pricing and financing. After I told him my budget, he only showed me cars in the ranges I could afford which is more I can say about the other dealerships I had visited. He was able to negotiate a price with me that was even lower than budget that I had originally specified. I was so pleased that I leased the vehicle the same day! He and the girl in financing clearly explained all of the paperwork that we needed to sign and got us out within an hour of returning to pick up the vehicle. He was very efficient and even set up my first maintenance appointment for me on the spot. I had never leased a vehicle before and Joe made the process a pleasure. I’ve only had the car for 3 days and I’ve already recommended him to my friends that are thinking of getting a new car! Thanks Joe for making a potentially stressful time such an exciting experience!
This is our second lease at this dealership and was very pleased with our salesmen. My daughter leased her Altima last year and we liked our salesman. He was very polite and thorough. I just leased a Maxima this January, and I love this car! The salesman was also very polite and cooperative.

I had a very positive experience when I went to lease a Maxima I told Matt basically what I wanted to pay up front, what I wanted my monthly cost to be, and the vehicle I wanted. He left for a few moments and came back with a deal that met all of my expectations. Additionally they took care of all aspects of my early termination, and throughout the process trated me in a professional manner. Matt even made sure that the paperwork was ready when we came to pick up the car. The bottom line is that I will return to Matt ( Smithtown Nissan ) to lease a Murano in the next few months.

I was very impressed by this dealership. I had worked with them previously on my first lease. I used a different dealership for my second lease through a friend’s reference. They were less responsive when I was ready to trade- in my lease and Arthur from Smithtown was right there with the information & details I wanted, without the high pressure pitch. I called and he was pleasant and polite taking the time to discuss my questions. When I stopped by the dealership, he walked me through the process and I left there with the car I wanted the same day. I would highly recommned this dealership for their exemplary sales and service.
I had a very good experience with Smithtown Nissan that I wanted to share. The salesman (Rich Incao) was honest/frank and provided me with an aggressive lease price from the start. The involved Finance guy (Mike Scheff) quickly helped closed the deal by providing the options I needed. I have purchased multiple cars from this dealership – recommend them highly. The post sale service/maintenance setup (they commit to provide express oil change service under 30 mins) works out very well

they will lie to you if they don’t have the car you want. they will tell you that it is in new jersey and they will have it in a day or two. a week will go buy until you hear from them to tell you that you have another week to wait. they play the victim game so don’t fall for their mother goose stories.

Dealership was great. Sales person matt was very good.Was great dealing with someone who really knows his job and treated me and my wife great.Frank in financing was a gentleman.All round a wonderful experience. I would have no problem buying a car from this sales person and this dealership again.
The manager would not allow us to leave until we negotiated a deal we both could live with.

I did not purchase my vehicle from this dealership just because they did not have the color I wanted. I did go here for service and parts and I had the best experience I’ve ever had with a dealership in the service department. The parts tech and service guys were great. They answered all my questions and called me back within the hour of me leaving a message. John in the service department was great. I highly recommend anyone going here for service.
