I would STRONGLY recommend purchasing from another dealership. Bob Merry is extremely dishonest. His word means nothing. If you decide to purchase from Beechmont Saturn, Mitsubishi, or Subaru, make sure you get everything Bob says in writing.
My family and I first purchased cars from this dealership at the end of 2000, as we had just moved back to the US. We purchased 3 cars and Bob was our sales person. He was very accommodating, friendly and ready to help! Bob did not know my family indended on purchasing more than one car, but greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel right at home.
Over the past 11 years, my family has continued to come back to this dealership because we know we will be treated fairly and like family. Once my brother was ready to purchase a car, he came back to see Bob and has since purchased a Saturn Ion as well. I too have purchased another car from Bob and will continue to go back for a pleasant buying experience.
All warranties and guarantees on our vehicles have been upheld. Purchasing a car can be a stressful experience, but it does not have to be. I would recommend coming to Beechmont Mitsubishi!
First Contacted Bob on the car I was looking to purchase I came in and right away I should have realized that it was a bad idea. I was going in to buy a grey car. When I got there, the car was blue. He insisted that he never said the car was grey. I showed him online where it says “DARK GREY”. He just ignored it. Other than the color, it had all the things I was looking for.
I test drove it and right away noticed a noise. I am not a mechanic by any means but I do know a thing or two. I said something and he stated that the car was looked over and it is just from sitting. The tires have a flat spot that will fix itself. I had them take it back to the shop and the service department said it was the tires. This after purchasing the car I took it to another shop and had all 4 wheel bearings had to be replaced. Good looking out service department of Saturn!!! So when purchasing this car the insisted on the warranty. The top warranty that they offer. So I go for it just because with used cars you never know, lets just say it was used the first week I had the car.
Oh and the “free lifetime oil changes” bogus. Since my car takes full synthetic, I have to pay for the oil. Therefore, I pay $54.00 for my free oil change. Good deal huh? But I get a free oil filter!!!
So they sent my kid and I home in a car that was defective. Every time I call Bob he just is to busy to answer and when I do get a hold of him he says, “that’s why you purchased your warranty”. Yeah…isn’t that nice.
purchased a used ford explorer 2008. cd6mp3 player was not working at time of delivery. used car mgr was very rude, inappropriate, humuliating, degrading to me. could not show me service records where it had been inspected serviced. salesman bob merryman stated to me and my wife as a witness that we would have a 3 month warranty from the saturn dealer. when i returned the vehicle after just taking delivery, they were rude and tried to collect more money from me. i have filed 4 complaints to the BBB about customer service, sales practices are shady, and they wouldnt back up what they promised. the used car sales manager jesse bundy was extremely rude/disrespectful. i paid them 23,000 for a vehicle and they cant afford to fix a cd player. i filed complaints to BBB and sent my 2nd round of certified letters to the president, and vp/gm of kenwood auto lease grp inc. DONT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!:mad:
lied to about warranty and vehicle inspection. very unprofessional used car sales manager. vehicle was defective upon taking delivery and dealership would not fix it since the consumer paid a negotiated price. would never buy/recommend this dealership to anyone. reported them to bbb . complaint not resolved
dealership sold a car with a defective mp3cd6 player and would not fix it and could not show service record to show it was inspected. poor customer service by used car manager jesse bundy. salesperson lied about a 90 day warranty by saturn on this used vehicle. used car mgr unprofessional,poor communication skills, treated consumer like a piece of trash. multiple complaints to bbb about this dealership. also sent letters to president rob reichert, and vp/gm gerry carmichael who own the dealership. complaints not resolved by bbb. would never buy a car here. very dishonest people!!!!
