My ratings got botched up. Oh well. Great Dealership!!!
This was my very first car purchase on my own. I went into the dealership thinking, “if I get pressure, I’m walking right back out to go somewhere else.” I was welcomed warmly at the door, received assistance when I wanted it, and no pressure was given to purchase just any car. I told the salesman exactly what I needed and he took his time and showed me 5 different cars and explained the differences in each. My salesman went over all of the paper work and process thoroughly before I even went talk to the finance guy so that I would know exactly what to expect and so I would not be afraid. I got the car I wanted, at the price I wanted and even a lower payment than I was expecting! I will recommend Ralph Sellers to everyone I know! I love my new Elantra!!! Thanks Ralph Sellers!!!
Went to buy a 1500 Ram i seen on the website, the truck ran out of gas in the parking lot before I could test drive it. Salesman had so many deals he was trying to work at once that I spent way to long at the dealership. After purchasing I found paint damage on the lower rocker panel. Had problems with the radio, called the dealership 3 times with no response, finally called back and when they seen I was really upset the salesman called back and said the receptionist put the message in the wrong salesmans box (no excuse, why did that guy not call if there was a message in his box). They said they would look into the problem and call back, never did, contacted Chrysler and they had me take the truck to A.J Dohman in Morgan City-great dealership, fixed the problem.
Easy process. Got everything asked for. Very coureous salesmen.
Went in to get vehicle appraise had financing secured brought in all paper with clear title. The salesman did not read the fine print on paperwork for financing so I got screwed. I rode around in their vehichle for 2 weeks before they relized they screwed up on the financing. I had to return the vehicle and when I got my trade back the check engine light was on my kids missed trick or treating and the Manager tells me there is nothing that they can do and that when they bring a vehicle in to the auction they do not check for problems or lights on. SAD I would not recommend this dealer ship they are liers and definitely con artist. When something bad happens everyone walks around like it is normal and the person who sold the car does not even apologize nor the manager for their screw up. Then when I go in to confront the salesman he tells me he never even checked my car. They could have easily check with the person who drove the car to get it appraised. Don’t go to this dealership you will be very disappointed. I have had 2 jeep cherokees but after this experience I think I will leave jeep alone and try another make of vehicle.
My husband called about a jeep wrangler that we have been watching on their website. The price recently was reduced so we called again thinking they were ready to get the 2012 model off the lot to make room for the 2013’s. The salesman was extremely rude and said ‘Oh you’re the guy who called before!’ Like it was a bad thing to call again when you see a price drop. The salesman went to the manager after my husband offered full price with financing or less with cash and he came back and said the price drop was a mistake and the price was set back to where it was a couple of weeks ago. Extremely shady so we decided to give up on that jeep even though it had many features I wanted. In reading other reviews on this board I KNOW we made the right decision!
DO NOT go to Ralph Sellers. They are RUDE, liars and cheats. I purchased a used vehicle from them 2 months ago. I received a notice from the DMV yesterday trying to revoke my drivers license because I didn’t have liability coverage on the car I TRADED IN to Ralph Sellers. Stupid _ _ _holes hadn’t sent in the paperwork to the DMV. The receptionist is a rude _ itch and hung up on me 3 times. I was transferred to a man named Terri who was also an _ _ _ hole. I had to drive all the way over to Gonzales to get the paperwork they should have given me in the first place. DO NOT buy from these people. If you ever have a problem, they scatter like the roaches they are.
Went to this dealership with my daughter to pick up her Dodge Ram 1500. The truck was half washed, dirt on seats, water spots on window. Told salesperson and he made all kinds of excuses. He finally agreed to bring truck to outside source for detailing. When we went back to pick up truck, the truck still had water spots on all windows. We were discussing this with our salesperson when the sales manager came out and started yelling “what’s the problem now”! He told us that he no longer wanted to deal with my daughter and he was going to tear her paperwork up. He yelled and told us to get off his property. Don’t go to this dealership. Avoid it like the plague!
Flat out RUDE! This dealership is the last place you want to go when looking to buy a car or truck. They lie about prices and push crap at you. Ryan M. Cahill is FLAT out RUDE!!!
We purchased a Jeep wrangler right hand drive in 2006 for personal use and as a rural mail delivery vehicle. The salesman/finance officer sold us a 100k mile extended warranty. At 85k miles we had a claim. The warranty company inspected the vehicle and told the service advisor (at another dealership) that it was not covered and to tell the customer that the coverage was cancelled. It was cancelled due to a clause in the contract the stated that RHD vehicles were not covered. After a lot of finger pointing it appears that Ralph Sellers is the responsible party and we wasted $1560. We have been told that we will be refunded a prorated amount based on a 100k miles ($175). As of this writing I have not seen a check and Ralph Sellers is still pointing fingers at the warranty company (GE) and their agent. Avoid them at all cost. The only reason we bought it there in the first place was because it was on the lot. I will have them transferred to a reputable dealer next time.
:):):):) This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever gone through. The hometown environment and friendly staff treated us like we were special. I will gladly recomment them to anybody looking to get a vechile. :):):):)
I went there one day to look at 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD. I was told by a saleman that the engine has mercedes turbo diesel in it. I informed my husband about. Later, he went there to look at it too and he was also informed of that same type of engine. So we agreed to buy it. They financed us through citi financial. We didn’t know anything about that company but we decided to give it a shot and brought home that vehicle. Several months later, problem started. Jeep was acting funny or vibrating alot so we took it back. It was under warranty. They fixed and we brought it home. Later, problem started again and we took it back. Been in the shop many time plus at one time it was in the shop more than a month. Finally, we got fed up and wanted to give it back but they refused to take it back because of the way it was financed. We were disappointed when we found out the payoff is actually almost twice as much than what we financed. They finally fixed it by rebuilding the transmission. Somehow, later my husband checked in to it and found out that engine is NOT mercedes turbo diesel. We were disappointed. Then one day, the engine locked up at 90,000. They said it will cost about 14,000 to replace the whole engine. Fuck that. We were advised by a law student to see a lawyer to file a lawsuit againt this company and we are working on that right now. My advise to you guys, STAY AWAY FROM RALPH SELLERS. They will lie and scam you. GET READY RALPH SELLERS, WE ARE GETTING YOUR ASS.
Hello,
I just wanted to comment on how we were treated at Ralph Sellers. The salesman that greeted us were great. We were looking into buying a new vehicle. We gave them all our info for them to run a credit report. The Manager is the one who came back into the office to tell us we were approved. They advised us of what we needed to bring in on the next day. We did just that, sat about 25 min for the Business Manager to now come in and say that they were working all day and had no time to contact other banks to finance us. I felt hurt and betrayed. I felt like they should have not told us we were approved and secondly I felt like they should have called us over the phone instead of having us drive 30 min to Gonzales… What a waist….:mad::mad::mad::mad:
