My mom just bought a car from here. Heather Davis was awesome she answered all of our questions and was so very helpful. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to buy a car
Mark was very respectful of my concerns and took the time to show me how all the options work on the Subrau Forrester.
I made the mistake of saying I really liked the Baja before I went there, and they only had one on the lot. So I test drove it, and really liked it. It was sold as is, without a warranty. So I bought the extended warranty. The tonneau cover that came with the car was warped, and leaks. Then it rained within 3 weeks of buying the car, and my sun roof leaked and soaked my driver side floor board. They did fix the leak issue with the sun roof( as it wasn’t a major issue), but my passenger side window also does not roll all the way down. And now the weather stripping in my driver side door keeps falling out, causing the inside door panel to pop open and the door does not close all the way unless I fix the striping every time before I close the door. (This is how they turn over a used car?) I have called the service dept and left a message and they have not gotten back to me. I have been in the service dept waiting before, where I have seen the desk workers swear after hanging up the phone. I am horribly disappointed with everything that this dealership offers. I would definitely not recommend buying a used vehicle there. This is not the type of thing I would expect from a Subaru.
My wife and I were actually next door at a GM dealership having her car serviced. I was looking at buying a car but was ignored by the salesmen, both in the show room and in the lot. They were watching a football game on TV. After about an hour I looked out the window and saw Puyallup Subaru. Now Subaru was not even on my radar screen. Instead of sitting in the waiting room we decided to walk over and look at the cars Subaru had in the lot. After about 10 minutes Dennis E. approached us. I told him I really had no intention of buyinig a car until my wife’s car was paid off sometime next year and that Subaru wasn’t in the picture. Just being up front. Dennis was still interested in answering any questions we had. Now,I have looked at a lot of cars and ask salesmen a lot of questions but not one could compare to the knoweldge Dennis has of his product. We left impressed. I drove home (a 2 hour drive) and spend a week looking at 2010 Subaru reviews on the internet. I was VERY impressed. We decided to buy a car now rather than wait a year. We contacted Costco and they set things in motion. Even though there are closer dealerships, no salesman was a knowledgable and treated us as well as Dennis did. So we drove the extra distance to buy from him. We were glad we did. Without going into a lot of detail let me just say that Dennis was again very helpful, patient and informative. In the end the most difficult decision, I can’t believe I’m saying this, came down to the car’s color. Dennis was patient with me.
Here is what I got out of all this; a very good automobile, a good deal (I checked), a free $150.00 custom cargo cover, a saving of $150.00 under Costco’s best and a dealership/product I feel comfortable in continueing to recommend to friends, family and coworkers. Oh yeah, I didn’t even bargain for any of the above deals. Subaru. Who knew? Thanks Dennis.
I have purchased many cars over the years from various makes. I have met the cliche scummy car salesman and liar. I’d absolutely say the guys are first class at Subaru of Puyallup! I even met the “dreaded” sales manager and in fact he was a nice guy that helped clarify some of my more technical questions. In my shopping, I went to Tacoma Subaru and to Auburn Subaru and the service I received in Puyallup was by far the best. They were right up front with me and answered all of my questions. I read the other comment on here and I’d have to say that that person probably had credit issues or personal issues because what he stated doesnt stand true for the people at Sub. of Puyallup. I will recommend them to all of my friends. Thank you for making it easy. 🙂
Bait and switch kings. They had us come in and “re-sign” the loan and added a down payment that was never agreed upon. They will rip you off, if given the chance. Watch what you sign, or better yet, don’t buy a car here!
