Bought RX350. Heavy sales pressure tactics. After refusing their offer and leaving the showroom, kept getting calls at home. We were called back with assurance of more discount. Nothing happened, except pleading/forcing us to buy the car, because sales person had spent several hours with us. Never told that $1,500 discount given to us was in-lieu of 1.99% financing rate of car. Had to pay higher rate of interest. Salesman later told us we should have read fine print of financing online! During final visit, the sale manager said he is giving $995 delivery and document fee(this is besides their regular processing fee) credit. On final invoice at financing time, did not see the credit. We were told the Manager was just explaining a MSRP charge we had questioned! As a compromise, Sales manager offered free door edge guard, which were never given later. Sales man said he had given free oil change coupon, which in fact was given for other inconveniences to us. No proper coordination of deal between salesman and sales manager. After we took delivery, for some questions we tried to contact Sales person by text, email and phone.He contacted after two days only when we threatened with higher level complaint. He said he is very busy now! Yesterday sent email and phone message to Finance dept for a query. Still waiting to hear from them. They seem to have no time for prompt response now as car is already sold!! Caution: Be prepared for heavy sales pressure, though they advertise on the web site that this is a sales pressure free dealership!
Dealership Experience
Salesman was nice but off in left field trying to come up with trade-in values.
Pohanka actually gave me a trade in value (for my Mercedes) that was $10K less than KBB trade-in value. They also kept referring to my friend accompanying me as my wife. I tried to make it a point and even joked about no ring(s) but I guess they couldn’t get the picture.
Lastly, they kept praising their dealership and saying they’re December sale to remember was like no other but yet gave me a price on a car which was $4K above it’s MSRP.
Poor experience to say the least.
For some reason my NO reply against the below quesiton came up yes. I would NOT recommend this dealership.
