Sometime around Feb 2012 and started looking for a vehicle with new car salesman Vince. After many hours of me trying to walk away they would not let me. I am a woman and went in alone maybe that was my problem. Anyways. I finally got a deal on a 2010 370Z Nissan dark gray roadster touring with the sport package and it only had 9k miles! So I went through finance and dealt with Ray Garcia. Went through all the paperwork he advised me to get tire protection for the tires of my car since run flats are extremely expensive! I have not had much luck tires so I agreed! I told them I was willing to put 4k down which I did and that included all the warranties and such. After 2 weeks they call me back and ask me to come in. I was told in order to get the deal done I would have to put down 6k down and the price of the car would change. At this time I was dealing with Ray Garcia and Mohammed his manager. They had directly told me nothing had changed just the amount down and price of the vehicle. (according to them they were working extremely hard and taking a huge loss to get me in my car) HAHAHHA! I TRUSTED what they had directly told me! So I signed 🙁 Now I have about 17k miles in my car and guess what 2 of my tires are having issues. the rear driver tire and the front passenger tire! Now for one I do not drive like a maniac its really surprising that the tire would have this kind of effect soo soon. Anwyays I call Pinnacle Nissan Service Dept and I explained I had purchased a warranty for tire. They told me I had no warranty on my tires! Immediately I called the finance department and spoke w Laura. Ray and Mohammed were no longer in the company they went to Ford motors. She has to take out the first documents of the 4k deal and look through and it was there that I had purchased the additional warranty for the run flats tires. But on the second documents (6k deal) I signed to decline! I would NEVER have declined the warranty for tires! I am depositing more money down. That is very illogical. So Ken the customer service manager calls me back and tells me I declined on the second set of documents. I tried to explain what happened. He wouldn’t have it and directly told me “don’t you read the documents you sign?” In that case NO! I trusted Ray and Mohammed they seemed genuine in trying to help me 🙁 Ken also mentioned the 6k the took off the car to make the deal work. I also explained to him I invested 6k myself. now I would like to know where exactly all that money went on!!!! They ABUSED my TRUST! Now I am shopping around for tires and they have completely made my life difficult. I am a single mother and they had no compassion. I had thought all this time I had gotten the deal of a lifetime. I was wrong. Make sure when they call you back the second time to come in and change the paperwork! WHICH THEY WILL!!!! READ EVERYTHING AND DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY!!!!!! I will NEVER buy a vehicle from any VAN TYLE DEALER AND NEITHER WILL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS! I AM HEARTBROKEN! I TRUSTED THEM
Sales team was honest and upfront! No games which was appreciated and refreshing… Thank you for taking good care of us, we will be back
great service
I leased a brand new Altima, and Vince was wonderful. Ray was the finance guy. Everything was great
I would definitely recommend this dealership if you are looking to purchase or lease a new car. I went into Pinnacle Nissan looking to buy my first car. Alex took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for and making sure it was something I could afford. He was personable, helpful and informative. The rest of the staff was very friendly and professional. You can tell they really care about their costumers.
(Alex Was the Salesman who Helped me)I heard about their dealership from a friend of mine. So I decided to check what types of car they have and if I could get me a new car. Very nice and friendly place. I was greeted well and shown every option I had to purchase. I spent lots of time with the sales guy and told him i am not gonna purchase right away. Even that he was very nice and took his time to show me the cars and told about the financing option. I did go back and get the car from him. I highly recommend this place, and suggest you guys talk to Alex. He is young, smart and friendly.
Great deals
it was great
Great Experience! Would not shop anywhere else. Great people and the best customer service experience I have ever received!
They listed 2 cars on the internet (bait cars). I arrived and the salesman said yes they have them and walked me around the lot stopping me at ‘other’ cars to find that neither of the 2 listed cars were still available. But wait, check out this VW EOS. I said no please dont wast my time, please. He said we can get you into this one, it’s the end of the month. I argued right off the bat saying my time is critical that I not waste it. He assured me I can get into that car. Long story short, it didnt happen. I complained the next morning via email and got a call from manager telling me because of my hardship they have agreed to offer me a brand new altima sedan for 17,800! He sent me a link to this actual car but did not realize it had the price on it at $17,100. Haha…he offered me a great deal on a car I have no interest in. I went to Moore’s in Peoria and purchased that same EOS only nicer.
I already have some co-worker thinking about going. They see how much I love my car…Eric and Nick are excellent dealers. They will be going to them if they decide to get a Nissan. Thank you guys…Elizabeth P 🙂
I wish that i had read all the negative reviews before going into this place. I should have gotten the clue from the salesman when he said within 5 minutes of me being there that “we have a bad rep, but we are trying to get better”(bruce). let me tell you, its painfully said to see a grown man like him lie and scheme the way he did. plus the guy didnt have a clue about the vehicle he was selling, nor did he know what options were standard on the vehicle. then when you tell him that it is supposed to be included in the base vehicle he gets all pissy and says ok then ill throw it in. gee thanks bruce for throwing in an item that is SUPPOSED to be there. i could go on about this guy and his pathetic attempts at making you feel like he cares about you as a customer, and you know what, i will. i mean when he keeps saying to you how much money he is personally making or losing on a deal, well come one, a little professionalism please. oh and please guy, save your BS lines like “its all about you”, “my middle name is service”, “leave it to me” etc etc blah blah, i could see right thru it. do people actually fall for that crap? now if you somehow make it past the saleman and get into financing and you happen to get mike m, RUN. this guy is without question THE biggest scam artist and liar i have EVER had the displeasure of meeting. after spending less than 5 minutes listening to this guy i had to get up and leave. after making it past his army of puppets (yes the salesman are mere puppets for the finance managers) and other finance managers who look like they just graduated high school, i was gone from that place faster than usain bolt running the 40. ill find my armada elsewhere thank you. i give pinnacle 1 star only for selling nissans. and please, get rid of that “pinnacle promise”, its a complete joke. heres my own “promise”… i promise to tell everyone i personally know and every website that i can write a review on how terrible pinnacle nissan is!

DO NOT SUPPORT PINNACLE NISSAN OR ANY DEALERSHIP OWNED BY LARRY V TUYL!
MY CONTRACT WAS COMPLETELY CHANGED AND MY SIGNATURE FORGED AFTER I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP! CRIMINALS. LIARS. THIEVES.
I AM COMMITTED TO BRINGING THIS COMPANY DOWN AND PROTECTING ANY POTENTIAL CONSUMERS.
My story involves fraud committed by Pinnacle Nissan. I purchased a car from Pinnacle Nissan 3/30/07. I recently learned that the contract Pinnacle Nissan sent my finance company is not the contract I signed. I have never seen the contract the finance company has on file.
Pinnacle Nissan took $2210 that I financed for a service repair contract and increased the sale price of the car. They increased the rate by 2.99% to make more money on the back-end. Then increased the term by 6 months so that my payment changed minimally.
I learned of this when I recently needed the service contract that I supposedly financed. All along, I thought the increased monthly payment included the $10.00 fee to process my payment with the finance company. I had no idea it was because they changed the rate and term of my loan.
My “signature” on the altered contract has a faint box around it. It is clearly forged by cut and pasting in some manner. I did not sign that contract. I would never agree to take the amount I financed for the service contract and increase the purchase price of the car.
Pinnacle Nissan pocketed that money and then increased my rate to make more money and extended my term.
I have been trying to resolve this on my own. I filed complaints with the BBB, Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission. I have requested the original contract from Pinnacle. No one knows where it is and no one will return my calls. I have emailed the GM, Jonathan Turner and he will not respond. I contacted the local news stations and submitted my story.
I am out thousands of dollars, a service contract and despite putting $7000 cash down; I am upside down in the vehicle now because of the increased rate and term.
I wish I had looked online and found all the other complaints against this company. Please, please, please do NOT support this dealership or any dealership owned by LARRY V TUYL. Make sure you research any dealership before you consider purchasing a vehicle there. If you are unsure if the dealer is owned by Mr. Van Tuyl go to http://www.vantuylgroup.com/index.html
Pinnacle Nissan is the most dishonest dealership we have ever dealt with! We purchased a used vehicle from them at an off-site “Tent Sale”. We thought we got a pretty good deal and went home happy. Then just for fun, we decided to check their web site, and lo-and-behold, there was our vehicle for sale on the internet, for $2,000 less than what we had paid for it! Same VIN number, so no mistaking it.
So we printed the ad from the internet, went into the dealership, and asked “whats up with this???” They talked all about their numbers and what a GREAT DEAL we got, and finally we just walked out after listening to all their BULL S—! The salesman did try to soften us up a bit, by giving us a years worth of free oil changes. Okay, that was not much, to be sure! But we accepted it and went on our way, not happy….but just tired of listening to them.
So we have our letter for free oil changes….and honest people that we are…..we COULD have gone in every week or every month for a free oil change, but we didn’t. We went in 3 months after the purchase, and got our free oil change. We went in 6 months after the purchase and got our free oil change. BUT at the 9 month mark, I was at work and my son took our vehicle in for the free oil change.
EVERYTHING CHANGED AT THAT POINT AND WE FOUND OUT HOW DISHONEST PINNACLE NISSAN IS.
Then, they decided that the “free oil changes for a year” letter was not valid because it had not been signed and notarized and verified by the sales manager AND the service manager at the time it was presented to us. And “by the way, that salesman no longer works for us”.
They treated our son like a criminal, like he was trying to rip off the dealership for a $19.95 oil change. Later that day, and in the days following, I spoke to the service manager and the general manager of the dealership, with no resolution.
As far as we are concerned, it is a simple customer courtesy to honor something like this. Free oil changes for a year must cost them something like…..what? $80 or $100???
I told them that I will spread my bad experience with Pinnacle Nissan in Scottsdale, Arizona to everyone I know. There are other Nissan dealerships close by and I never intend to give another cent to these losers.
:devil(
Please don’t overlook my title of this post, I must admit, Pinnacle Nissan made a very good example of how they can ride their customers.
The car a had picked out was sold out from underme. I was never told the price of the car until in the Fiance office and never had a chance to “wheel and deal on the price”. I was lied to throughout the deal the major one being that I needed to buy the warrentys to get approved for my loan, which was NOT true. Treated horribly.
I’m honestly NOT a hard customer to deal with, not a jerk but rather someone looking for a decent deal and a new car, in fact, I was a HUGE push over. To much of a push over to be 100% honest and Pinnacle Nissan in Scottsdale, Arizona took advantage of my honesty and friendlyness which is why I created the site below. I warn you and please, please warn others – Stay away from Pinnacle Nissan unless you want a new one ripped.

Buying a car from Pinnacle was the worst expereince of my life. They are pushy and dishonest. Avoid them at ALL cost!!
BUYER BEWARE! I spent hours negotiating the purchase of a 370Z and paid deposit. It was to be delivered a few days later. They failed to deliver saying that other dealer sold out from under them, but that they would have same model/color within five days. They didn’t return calls as to status and didn’t deliver on promise. Manager then promised that he had lined one up with out of state dealership “friend” and assured me it would be delivered in a week. No return calls after week and finally said wouldn’t deliver on deal.
Hi Everybody. I have to say that I got a hell of a deal on a new car at Pinnacle Nissan a few days ago. You see, they’re in Phoenix (Scottsdale) in Arizona and I’m from out of state so all the negotiating and everything was done over the phone and email. We agreed on a price and I put down a deposit so they take the car off the lot while they wait for the wire to go through. They said they put the car on the side with a sold sign on it. A couple days later they say that they have the wire transfer for all the money. Then a short while later they call to tell me that “sorry, we sold the car, how would you like to get the money back”. I already booked a flight down because they had my money. Josh seemed like a nice guy but look at how they operate. Unreal. They don’t want to reimburse me for my flight nor the cost of the wire transfer – nothing. So I’m down a few hundred bucks and they scott-free. I highly recommend NOT buying from these guys.
Told us we were financed and let us drive away after keeping us there for 8 hours! We were so tired we just wanted to go home, and I think that is what they wanted. two and a half weeks later and still no financing, and we have to make a payment on the vehicle we traded in! DO NOT GO HERE! The van was supposedly brand new, and the door handle was brokes, the cup holder was broken, and the wiper fluid container was broken. Also there was a sticker that had been removed fromt he back of the vehicle (impression still there) from another dealership! We call every day to try and talk to someone, they won’t answer our calls or if they do they clain they will call back, and hundreds of messages later they have yet to return a single phone call! Stay away from Pinnacle Nissan and go somewhere else!
