went to buy a car with sister in law found one with several flaws was promised allflaws would be repaired and after several days and many delays upon pick up of vehicle found sloppy body work,one part never replaced and vehicle not even detailed. we were made to wait upon arrival at dealership. sales men made promises that were never kept. sales manager also made promises that were at best a half hearted attempt to satisfy us.our treatment was unacceptable at this supposed luxury dealer. they acted more like a honda dealer than a acura dealer.
when they couldnt even find the time to at the very least apply one coat of wax to the car.i do not reccomend them in any way.
I purchased my MDX on 8/6/2010. I dealt with Brandon who was a dream. After going/dealing with other horrible Acura dealerships such as Paragon Acura and Smithtown Acura I was elated with Acura of Ramsey. I really recommend using Brandon he delivered the car as promised. We arranged pricing over the phone which did not change upon my arrival. He did not try slipping in fees and other nonsense. He is truly honest/great guy and am definetly sending business his way. When I purchase again in 4 yrs I will be returning there and will recommend them whenever possible. He was awesome take it from me I came all the way from CT and was not disappointed. 🙂
I purchased a new 2010 Acura TL from Tommy by first contacting him through the internet about a quote. He answered any questions I had and was very diligent about getting his best price. After a couple weeks of emailing back and forth, I went to the dealership for a test drive and was greeted with encouraging hospitality. We took the car for a test drive he explained all the awesome features to me, gave me his best price and I signed the deal. I went back a couple of days later to pick up the car, after getting all the necessary paperwork together, Tommy sat with me for over half an hour making sure I new how to use the cars features. He programmed my bluetooth for me and showed me how to use all the high-tech gagets. I never met a car salesman like Tommy and I would recommend him to anybody who doesn’t want to be tricked and hounded into buying a car. Absolute best experience!
Tommy T. is a great sales person. I leased a vehicle from him in 2008 got an amazing price – especially in comparison to other nearby dealers. There were no hidden fees when I came to the dealership. I was fortunately redirected to Tommy, after two to three conversations over the phone I came in and leased a vehicle within an hour. Not to mention, that he didn’t as other dealers attempt to bring in “the big guns” as often happens. He spent maximum time with us and at the end went to his manager to make sure the price he offered us was alright.
Now I am planning on leasing another vehicle from him in the following month.
Very upfront and professional. They were the second best price I received from 10 dealers, BUT the best when it comes to customer care. I didn’t mind paying $5 dollars more a month for amazing service. They even called right after pickup to make sure all is well.
After pressuring me to make a deal and then having me sign a waiver of the 48-72 hour buyer’s remorse period regulated by law, they refused to take the car back after I changed my mind.
Very simply, the law is in place to protect buyers from the pressure tactics of car dealers. While I though Ramsey Acura was different, they ended up beging the worst dealer I’ve ever dealt with. Why would they even create a form in which you waive legal right to reconsider a purchase?! Because they are more interested in their profits than customer satisfactions.
I can only warn you that these are not honest people interested in a satisfied customer. Watch your back with these guys!
